September 2021 Sketches 18 - Therion (Octopath Traveler) (Patreon)

Here's a two part sequence featuring Therion from Octopath Traveler. The idea was suggested by JT's Channel.

"A continuation of Therion’s growth from last month. He continues to get more and more enormous as he eats. I would like to request Alfyn be enjoying witnessing Therion’s growth and even contributing potions that help make him even bigger. (Maybe rubbing Therion’s belly too?)"

Therion's hunger kept on growing along with him, no monster, thief, or even random civilian that didn't want to cooperate with his feeding frenzies were no match for him, and only served as more fuel for his expanding, powerful body.

Meanwhile, Alfynn, THerion's only party member that's able to stand up to Therion's standards (And that has survived him), is there to support his growing partner. He still works on medicine, but he also uses his potion making to prepare some nice beverages to the ever hungry Therion. Therion sometimes taking the whole cauldron without even letting Alfynn finish whatever he was making. Whatever it was, it only made Therion bigger.

When visiting towns, Therion didn't need stealth to steal anymore, he just has to stand right in front of the shop owners, and demand them to give them every single piece of food they have...or else he'll eat THEM along their food. His sole intimidating presence enough to make almost everyone obey him and give him all the food they have, while the more stubborn people only ended up as more food for the hungry, growing force.

Alfynn couldn't help but feel the NEED to encourage Therion to grow bigger, there was something really satisfying of watching his previously smaller partner become a growin, unstoppable force right before his eyes...And heck, giving him belly rubs after a big meal felt really nice, making Therion happy as well.
