Fightful Select can confirm Mike Santana is now gone from AEW after he was removed from their roster page. We will have more details this week.

Mike Santana's time in All Elite Wrestling has come to an end.

Mike Santana has not been backstage at AEW shows in months, and sources close to him said he's officially done with the company after he was removed form the AEW roster page. He previously returned to AEW on the August 23, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite after he missed over a year due to the torn ACL he suffered in the Blood & Guts match in June 2022. He competed in the Stadium Stampede match at AEW All In before he started feuding with his former tag team partner, Ortiz. Santana defeated Ortiz on the October 27 episode of AEW Rampage, and he has not wrestled for the company since.

Santana has remained active on the independent scene, as he has wrestled for House of Glory as recently as their Reckoning event on March 2, where he defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the HOG Heavyweight Championship. Santana has also wrestled for C4 and Beyond, among other promotions.

Santana and Ortiz signed with AEW in 2019, and they were a buzzworthy acquisition, as they were four-time IMPACT World Tag Team Champions, among other accolades. During his time in AEW, Santana was featured as a member of the Inner Circle with Chris Jericho, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager. The group broke up while he was sidelined with a torn ACL, but he briefly reunited with Ortiz, despite their real-life falling out, for the Stadium Stampede match.
