- CM Punk was backstage at a Freelance Wrestling show in Chicago this week.

- MJF withdrew from another comic con this week. Swerve Strickland effectively replaced him in Lexington at this weekend's Lexington Toy & Comic Con.

- In addition to Steven and Garrett Borden, Sting’s daughter Gracie was backstage at AEW Revolution, we’re told.

NXT News from Corey Brennan

-The Asylum match between Dijak and Joe Gacy received a lot of praise backstage, particularly Dijak for his moonsault from the top of the cage. 

- William Regal was not listed for the No Quarter Catch Crew Promo. His promo is expected to play a key part in Charlie Dempsey's next few weeks. 

-Trick Williams was also not listed on rundowns, and was not around during the day or at rehearsals. 

- As ever, officials were very happy to have Asuka and Kairi Sane on the show. However, there was some frustration with the champions having a title defense booked for next week's RAW during Monday's show.

- Logan Paul's PRIME sponsoring the WWE canvas is not an angle, it's an actual partnership between the two sides.

- The Smackdown feed cut off for many at the end of the show before Cody Rhodes slapped The Rock. 

- Sam Adonis, the brother of Corey Graves, was backstage and in attendance at this weekend's WWE Smackdown in Dallas. Adonis is currently working in AAA without a contract and has been an effective heel there for years.

- B-Fab, Paul Ellering, AOP, and Street Profits were originally listed as accompanying Lashley and Kross to ringside.
