Wings are based on the awesome ZDragon base by Zephyxus.

It is REQUIRED that you own the base in order to use this prefab.

Prerequisites

In order to make one-click setup work, this package uses VRCFury. Open this link and follow the setup instructions:

Important: Make sure your VRChat SDK is updated! VRCFury requires the latest VRChat SDK to function.

How to use

  1. Expand your avatar game objects in the Hierarchy. Rename the "Wings" to something different, such as "Wings.old". Then, in the Inspector, disable the game object by clicking the little check box next to the game object name.
  2. Drag the "Wings" prefab from the "ZDragon Wings" directory in your Project view onto your main avatar game object. It should become a direct child of the object and it should be a sibling to the old Wings object.
  3. Adjust the "Wings" material. I provided a copy of the original textures where the "Propatagium" - the triangular area of membrane between the shoulder and the wing thumb - is painted white. You can use your existing texture of the old wings but I recommend painting in the area for the propatagium too.
  4. You're done! VRCFury takes care of the rest, you should see a new menu entry to control the wings.
