Improvise. Adapt. Overcome!

Hi! As you may know, pixiv are going to update their rules (on Dec 15th) to forbid monetizing "child pornography" content. https://www.pixiv.net/info.php?id=8788 Is shota animations equals to child pornography? I think - no, but pixiv regulators may think different. This changes in the rules com...

Pixiv revealed what they are going to update in "Service Master Terms of Use":

About "Prohibited Items"

Lets "translate" this:

- "live-action" is about filming real children (or any real/non-3D-CGI person)

this is not about our content, because Captain Spirit is not real 😉, all our shotas are just a bunch of polygons, rendered in 3D scene

- "so realistic to create concerns ... involved of living people"

again - not about our content - I am not using cutting-edge-technology render and motion capture to be this level realistic (poor me 😄)

About "Items Requiring Revision"

Now, read carefully:

- "If we discover ..." - so they are not sure about reviewing every picture posted on pixiv; it sounds more like "we will assign 2 our most lasy workers to do this boring job" 😁

- "we may take the following actions" - do you feel the difference between "we may take actions" and "we will take actions"? Yep, they are not sure and probably will act depending of situation (like taking down only real violations involved real children)

And their measures (if your work requires revision) are quite gentle and content-creators friendly: they will tell you what exact posts are requiring revision and after you blur/pixelate or edit in some other way your content it will be back online.

Real account suspension will take place only if you constantly ignoring their requests.

To sum up: everything will be as usual, the most they can do - is to ask me to blur some post head images/previews on fanbox, but nothing more. As I wrote in previous post - they are not interested to lose creators, which make content on regular basis.
