Game development

I’ve setup the rubber pixie’s forest clearing and have started rendering out the introduction images to her area: It took me a while to get scene setup last Thursday/Friday, but I reckon it’s well worth the effort, since the rubber pixie’s introduction scene and battle backgrounds will also take place there. Mainly a matter of “well prepared now is quick work later”; or whatever the saying is. 😝


Anyhow I’ve started pumping out the images of the rubber pixie’s introduction scene; which sees Kathleen waltzing into her shiny domain… and the way behind her (oh so conveniently) closed off. It takes Kathleen a while to realize what she’s gotten herself into, but when she does she quickly tries to move on from the glade… Though the rubber pixie’s got other thoughts about that. Like with (most of) the other mini-bosses I’m planning on providing multiple ways for Kathleen to tackle this peril; so be sure to look around in the area’s leading up to the rubbery glade. Since it might just net you an easy way past the pixie’s garden. ;3


I’m aiming to wrap up the final introductory shots of the rubber pixie tomorrow. Afterwards I’ll dive into the images for her battle next. If possible I’d like to have those done by Thursday at the latest, so that afterwards I can get started on the meat of the entire event: That being the rubber flower fail-state of course. >:D


A tight squeeze (Lara Croft snake comic)

On the snek comic front; I’ve made some more miles on the throne room scene yesterday, being about halfway done with the throne room scene: As it stands I’m about half-way done with the throne room images, though there is another scene I want to do after the throne room to end Lara’s arch on a joocy (and complete) note.


In any case even though I only work the weekends on the project (since No escape takes priority during the week days), I am aiming to wrap up the throne room scene in a (somewhat) timely manner: If possible somewhere in the coming two weekends. Afterwards I’ll hop into setup up that final scene. 💪

Kathleen: ‘My god, would you look at all those vines lining the sides of path… I’m luckily the road’s also not overgrown with those rampant weeds.’

Kathleen: ‘That said they do look weirdly shiny, though I suppose that’s about standard for these simulations. Let’s just hope the rest of these woodlands are a bit-‘

Kathleen: ‘-normal…’

Kathleen: “Oh you’ve got to be kidding me, are those things-“

Kathleen: “-flowers?!”


And a teaser of the snek comic! Seems like there are more scaly ladies around besides the snake queen now, and they are all VERY eager for their own squeeze toys… Like this pretty brown snake. Let’s hope the (un)fortunate gal in the bag can handle her new owners (ample) constrictive needs! >;3

The way the flowers look at the base. Perhaps they move? That would be cool. 😎 loving it all! Can’t wait to read the next Medusa set!
