Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (172) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Game development

The current update has just hit the beta version, and is currently undergoing playtesting: I’m a bit torn on it since although it holds a good chunk of content, I also really wanted to release all of the combat path in one go (so including the minor traps strewn about the place). Unfortunately my week of illness at the end of last month killed those plans big-time, so I’ve just gotta accept it. In any case the most important stuff (enemies, fail-states, story scenes and most of the maps) are in there, so again: It hopefully (already) makes for a fun ride for you guys. ;3 ^^

In any case, the list of things the upcoming update will contain is as follows:

- The entire introduction part to Thornvine Estate, up to the branch split into the combat route and serving route.

- About 70% of the combat route itself; all the way up to the first room of Primrose’s “hide-and-seek” mini-game.

- A mini-boss battle against Primrose (plus “regular” fail-state).

- A “regular” enemy (Slave maids), together with a playable fail-state (containing progressive mechanics like @Salon Sweeties).

- Some story progression.

- A crap-ton of misc./fluff stuff, mainly found @Thornvine Estate.

The missing parts of the combat route (the traps, other “hide-and-seek” rooms and the combat route’s ending) will be added in May during a post-release patch (probably 2-4 weeks after the official release). Once that’s out the combat path is fully finished, and focus will switch to the serving route in Thronvine Estate. 💪

V0.26.1 will release somewhere for Tier III in the coming days; on Saturday (29th of April) at 21:00 CEST the latest.
