Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (154) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Heyooo people, Scriptor here with the latest dev news!

Game development

Last few days have been focused on making the “other” sister at Thornvine estate, together with her “own” dolls. Pleased to report that both of these assets are fully done; though I will say that the love-handles on these dolls were surprisingly difficult to weight-map in the end… Funny how it’s always those kind of “small” things that turn out to be the biggest headaches. 😅😋

Anyhow with those done most of the “heavy” Blender modelling for this update is accounted for. There are still some minor things (like modelling traps/”small” devices and such), but the most difficult custom models (the fully rigged doll suits) are accounted for. Don’t get me wrong though; there’s still a lot left to be done for the coming update, so no time to take it easy yet! 💪

Coming week I’ll be again focusing on the playable fail-state. Goal is to have the (repeatable) work events and the “end-day” events (in which the suit progressively gets bigger and takes more control of poor Kat) all done within the week. ^^
