Building on the foundation (Pixiv Fanbox)

Today I took some time to build an environment around the character. This mainly means I grabbed an existing environment and settled on it. I liked the feel and tone of a small, Russian apartment. I know they have those old Soviet-style concrete tombs they call apartments but this girl needed a serious upgrade from those. I want her in something comfortable and modern, with a city view outside (still figuring that out :/). For those that don't know, Masha didn't grow up in someplace like Moscow or St. Petersburg where she would get all the advantages of Europe. She grew up in the middle of Asia between China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan in a city called Novosibirsk. Judging by the homework I've done on the area she lived and stuff, wherever you live is probably better. I don't know how much time I can commit tomorrow, but I know there are quite a few things to check off the list: - tweaking the pose (both male and female) - prop placement - outside background - lighting - expression - hair (?) ... ...and that's BEFORE I even consider the older variant of her, which will mean tweaking everything again. Thank hell it's almost the weekend.
