Back from a week of phone calls, interviews, and negotiations... and now I have a new job. I feel good. Like I'm not a total loser anymore sitting at home playing with his Emilia Clarke 3D model. Which yes, I do that. Current job: - Barely above minimum wage - Contractor - All-female coworkers (not necessarily bad, and I was literally the only guy) - No health benefits or vacations - Front desk job where I dread phone calls and interactions with parents - Education field - Must work Saturdays - Closeby New job: - Salary nearly triple what I'm making (glowing interview alone bumped up my salary by $5,000) - Full-time employee with health benefits and stock options - All male co-workers in the department - No interaction with customers - Tech industry - 3 to 6 weeks paid vacation - In the big city, so commute kinda sucks I knew 2021 was the year I intended on improving myself. I didn't think it'd get this good. Gotta understand that ever since I graduated from university it's been almost one dead-end job after another. With what time I have left before I start, I'm going to try and work on another picture. I'm sure I have something to fire up and cook. I've got a few other RL plans in these next couple of days to put some aspects of my life back in order. Things are going to be changing and I'll update you guys accordingly.

Interactions with parents? By Crom, that alone would have me desperate for escape. Seriously though, great job, Ozzy! Best of luck in your new job. Nice that things are panning out better than you hoped.
