Ideaboard Discontinued, Fanbox Downgraded (Pixiv Fanbox)

In November, I had put the ideaboard on the discord server on pause to clear out backlog including the ideaboard itself with the intent of giving myself some breathing room, and had done so with the intent of reopening in March which was the intended plan to reopen. However, after giving it some thought, I had a change of heart.

I'm no longer invested in the ideaboard as a project and rather than wait to make the announcement, I feel now is the best time to do so as we near the end of 2021.

The ideaboard will not be reopening in March. It will not be reopening at all. Rather that it's an estimate of how long it may possibly take to clear out all remaining ideaboard requests. When I do, it will be discontinued and I will no longer be doing either ideaboard requests or the sponsorship board. When an ideaboard piece is complete, I will not be accepting payment for them to further develop them which means no more sponsorship bonuses either.

I started ideaboard in 2019 I believe, so it's been a part of MagnumImpulse for 2 of this server's 3 years. I want to say it's been a good run, but honestly it's been a complete disappointment and don't regret its dismissal.

Since the ideaboard is going to be disconntinued, the fanbox will be downgraded since it makes no sense to keep the current format when it was made for the ideaboard.

$1 and $3 tiers. The tiers beyond that have been removed as options and as such all pledges subscribed to those levels have been auto-unpledged.

Where we go from here is left to me, but I aim for a more self-directed heading, focused on characters and ideas I am personally invested in or inspired by. I expect things to get harder from here but that's what happens when you violently uproot yourself like this. What I once saw as stable has become stagnant and I'm burnt out from years of persistant, dedicated effort to a status quo that no longer met my needs as an artist or person, even if it was arguably more financially secure.

The only thing I am certain about is I love drawing, and that's the ground I will stand on to start again.
