【2023/11】Process - Newbie (Vibrator Bed) | 過程 - Newbie (Vibrator Bed) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Concept | 概念

It all began in August, when I had my month long break from FANBOX and was learning how to better use Blender, a 3D software.

I thought to myself, man, with all the machine stuffs I'm doing, I should learn to model some electronic stuff. So, I made a vibrator first for fun. Then I thought, wouldn't it be super hot to have a bed made out of vibrator and the shota is tied on there, facing down, cannot escape the stimulations even if they struggled…?

The reception was polarizing. Some friends thought it was genius, some thought it was wildly ineffective and dumb. Either way, ✨I'M DOING IT IN THE NAME OF ART✨ ᵃˡˢᵒ ᵇᵉᶜᵃᵘˢᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ⁱᵈᵉᵃ ᵐᵃᵏᵉˢ ᵐᵉ ʷᵉᵗ ( ⸝⸝･̆⤚･̆⸝⸝)

這一切都從八月的休刊月開始。當時我在進一步學習怎麼用Blender，一個3D軟體。

我在想，我既然都做了這麼多機械的東西，總該練習一下怎麼建模電子產品吧，於是我就好玩做了一個按摩棒。接著我想說，如果有一面床是滿滿的按摩棒，然後把一個正太綁在上面、面朝下，就算掙扎也無法逃離被刺激的命運，這樣不是超他媽色的嗎…？

結果反應挺兩極的，有些朋友覺得這點子很天才，有些覺得蠢得很不切實際。不管怎麼樣，✨為了藝術我一定要做做看 ✨（不過也是因為這點子讓我雞雞很濕啦（小聲））( ⸝⸝･̆⤚･̆⸝⸝)

3D

It was a bit difficult to tell that the bed was made out of vibrator, so I added one more in the back as backup, hinting to the audience what the bed is made out of. I purposefully made the setting a jail cell; with the greenish hue, perhaps a tangent to the Newbie series?

做完床後我發現有點難看出床上是一堆按摩棒，於是我在背景多加了一支備用的按摩棒來暗示觀眾床是按摩棒做的。我刻意把設定做得像牢房一樣，加上這些綠色的色調，也許可以當Newbie的番外篇？

Keep in mind that this was made in August. This was the first time I attempted Rinotuna's method, now that I look at it, I was quite rusty when I did this XD

請記得這是八月時畫的，也是我第一次嘗試Rinotuna的作畫流程，現在回去看覺得我當時技巧用得挺生疏的XD

I reused some of the layers from two steps ago, but most of it was redrawn for the sake of cleanliness.

我有回收利用一些兩個步驟前的圖層，不過大部分都是重畫，目的是讓成品更乾淨。

Rendering | 細修

For the background, I rendered in both Eevee and Cycle, then I masked out the areas I like more from each version to create the base. Note that back when I made this, I didn't know you can generate line art from Blender ( っ◜~◝c)

Later, I used rough brushstrokes to cover up the "3D feeling" that 3D renders tend to give, and tried to make it feel more cohesive with the main character.

背景的部分，我同時渲染了Eevee跟Cycle的版本，之後再用遮色片來決定要保留哪些部分當作背景的基底。 當時我渲染這背景時我還不知道有辦法讓Blender直接生成線稿( っ◜~◝c)

接著，我用了筆觸較明顯的筆刷來蓋過3D圖，試著降低「3D感」，來讓角色比較容易融入場景中

Rinmi's Suggestion | Rinmi的建議

Rinmi (@9Rin_miRin) recommended adding bloom to better indicate the lighting direction, fixed the head shape a bit, as well as adding a lot more ambient reflection on the skin to better show that the skin is wet, which is a super nice touch!

Most importantly, he recommended to use the brushstroke filter in filter gallery on the background to not only hide the 3D feeling, but also further enhance the vibration effect!!! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Rinmi (@9Rin_miRin) 建議我加點光暈，讓光源更明顯一些，同時也修正了頭型，以及在身上加入更多環境的反射來強調皮膚是濕的，這真的是神來一手！

不過最重要的是，他推薦我用一種濾鏡收藏館內的濾鏡來增加筆觸，不但能削弱3D感，還強化了按摩棒震動的感覺！！！ (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Draugnut's Suggestion & Minor Tweaks | 爪爪的建議＆微調

@Draugnut suggested to make the butt volume more ample, as well as shortening the length of the upper arm a bit. He also warned me about the danger of having a drastic iris size difference in a more realistic style, so I tweaked it a bit!

Up until this point, the works were all done in August. I made some minor tweak to the head proportion to better match my more recent styles (👍^U^)👍

Back when I drew this in August, it was meant to be an experimental doodle using a new process because I was confident that I wouldn't be animating it, but now I'm not sure anymore...🤔

@爪爪 建議我把屁股的體積改得豐滿一點、縮短上臂的長度，同時也提醒我在相對寫實的風格內，虹膜大小差異太大可能有點危險，所以我也調整了！

直到這邊，這些都是八月時就完成的，我這個月稍微細調了頭部的比例來更接近我近期作品的風格(👍^U^)👍

當我八月畫這個時，我原本只打算把這張當成實驗新的作畫流程的塗鴉，因為我當時很確定我不會把這個做成動畫，但我現在有點猶豫…🤔
