Troopers signed up for it. They consent for it. A joke on "・Non-consensual mutilation of a person or body part" Does this meant consensual murilation is allowed? What is going on? I don't believe that is what Pixiv had in mind. So here is all my thought on this revision that everyone are now very concerned. https://www.pixiv.net/info.php?id=8789 Due to upcoming Pixiv's update of term of use on Fanbox and Booth. I might(?) have to delete past galleries and almost all of my works if Pixiv's decision demand so, but for now, Pixiv haven't update the term in final or having clear explanation of what really is " patently offensive, unethical, or promote criminal activity". I firmly believe that my works and so many other's artist creations can't be categorized as such. Firstly, to be offensive, how do we set the definition of it, how far does the term extended? "offensive" for different people are always not agreeable. One might find a picture of Buddha out of context to be offensive, but for a lot of people, this is acceptable. It is very hard to define offensive, except those that do attack real group of people or someone very specifically, then yes, those are offensive. Next, for a work to be "unethical", it needed to be exploitative or harming someone in real life, my works do not harm anyone in production. Even after production, I make sure that all my viewers are in for gore content by warnings on every posts. Last, "promote criminal activity", at some point, we all had watched violence anime or movie, do any of us feel the urge to follow and do the crime seen in media? If so, then how far is this go? It is very hard to judge. We might as well ban all the movie? Why do they are out there and why we can't make it? And from all the reasons given, I do not believe that artistic creations that do not harm anyone in real life fall in any of above terms. I believe that the new policy change should be enforce on contents that do really harm people in real life, not to us, creators doing hard work to make sure people can enjoy "morally wrong contents" harmlessly and safely. If Pixiv decided to pull my works out, I will be looking into other subscription platforms, and might keep Pixiv for just vanilla works. If Pixiv didn't ban me before that happened, not that I want to but I have no choice, or I'll run out of money. :P I'll seriously have to go back to find job and not making any more anime if that happened. It is possible for me to work on this full-time because of everyone's support, making anime take a lot of time drawing frame by frame. Without monetization, I'm out of this business, hopefully Pixiv is kind to us enough. I don't want to go back to doing deliveries and other dangerous jobs or get abused by employers again. I feel sense of purpose doing what my fans enjoy the most. That's most important thing that ever happened. Thank you everyone. I'll post next Sketchpack anyway in next week, and a short anime. :)

The "written consent to rape and mutilation" is probably my favorite legal joke.

I think it only affects sites that accept western credit card payments. Also the rule is stupid. Why do things like Game of Thrones get a pass but indies get penalized?

あのモンニ

If they really not allowing guro, I'll continue to make this or even make it a constant content or try to morphed it into a new fetish. lol

I think a working loophole is to do art that shows accidents rather than someone else doing violent things to them maybe?

あのモンニ

Hmm, yes, still can do that, it is "accidents". Like, someone left chemical to boiled off and the facilities exploded from gas explosion.

I say wait until the end of the month for the new regulations to be revealed. They may only be talking about REAL content not drawings, as this entire headache was caused by assholes uploading pics or real kids to their fanbox, and then slapping on a thin coating of filters to pass it off as AI generated artwork.

I've seen real gore on main site, like every few days. They spam posting non-stop in R-18G section. If Pixiv really does gonna ban all works, those terrorists would win and everyone else lose, they will still be posting that anyway. They should start doing pending system for submissions, that might help, I can wait a few minutes to post anything, if it meant those people can't post anymore.

あのモンニ

I do appreciate the effort that they are trying to get those off the site, it will help us a lot if those don't shown up. it make browsing R-18G better, now it is hard avoid seeing real pics, might put off a lot of people from browsing R-18G. :(

What site of payment you are gonna use after you get ban?

あのモンニ

If they really enforcing it, I might be on Subscribestar (just got account approved), or Gumroad. Still waiting for final announcement.
