Hello everyone, first of all I'm thankful you are reading this to begin with. I’ve had this subscription system for a bit over two years now, but just these past few months have I had time to invest in drawing and the rest of my skills to provide you with all these works that I hope you enjoy. I’ve of course had mixed reactions ever since I joined the paywall system, which is understandable. It's never a nice sight to see a creator you like submitting teasers of a Fanbox or a Patreon. I have to say there's a lot of people that even though they have not directly supported me financially they have been quite understanding of the whole situation. This announcement is really important but I will try to summarize it and the reason for it in the next paragraph, and I will elaborate further later for those of you that want a more transparent explanation to why a subscription exists in the first place. I’ve reflected a lot since the start of the year, I want to give it a shot at becoming a full time “artist”. As you might have noticed I’ve been uploading every other day- granted, lately a lot of those have been sketches and not everyone is as fond of them as I am- but there are still a lot of more elaborated renders and drawings in between. I have to work harder than this, get better and create more. I feel like I made progress and I feel like it has been consistent enough for me to create a new subscription tier. This tier will cost the equivalent of 5€ (6 USD over dA and 782 yen over Pixiv) and it will be the one to include access to a 100% of the works from now on, alongside discord access if you so desire to. However, the current tiers are staying, and they will include approximately half of the works while keeping the current price on dA and being increased to 428 yen over pixiv. The reason for the latter is the decreased value of the yen as a whole, so it roughly translates to 3USD or 2’5€. Regarding these tiers, they will no longer provide a discord role able to see in the server gallery, mainly because the logistics of managing different pictures for different tiers would be a pain to both users and me personally. It will however still provide access to the "member imput" section (Polls, chat, suggestions, disccussions, you know if youve been there) I am planning on expanding the public part of the server if I feel like there's a large enough group of people interested in interacting a bit over there. Also, I am planning on expanding the public part of the server if I feel like there's a large enough group of people interested in interacting a bit over there. A work being featured on them will be mostly alternating between a yes or a no for that specific type of work. With this I mean, you will get around half of the drawings, half of the renders, and half of the sketches rather than having 80% of the sketches and 20% of the drawings, for example. The only exception will be “The Resident of Us” set. This one started so long ago and I know its the sole reason some of you started supporting me, so i will keep all future parts on the cheaper tier. I’m currently at an interesting point. I have a choice to look for a job using the career and master’s degree that I do have or try to go full time on this for real. I’ve experimented with the latter these few months and I’ve liked it, but it's far from paying up half as much as the other path would. I am not expecting this to blow up, not by a long shot. I am going to give it some time, see how it goes and how it affects me. If it works out fine, I will try to keep drawing, rendering, animating more and better, little by little. If it doesn’t I will most likely stick around, just in a way less prominent way, of course. When I started the subscriptions I priced them relatively cheap due to the fact I wasn’t sure I could provide because I had more immediate concerns, so I did not want people committing to me harder than I was comfortable with. Now I feel like I want to take this seriously for real, and this is one of the many steps in that path. At the end of the day I sincerely think this is for the best of all of us, since it means I will be doing way more and better pieces that everyone could enjoy, since my paywall is a timewall. These changes will be effective starting September 2023. I am looking forward to hear your feedback, regardless of it being a positive or negative opinion about it. Thank you all for reading, for following and thanks to everyone who has trusted me with their wallet in any shape or form, at any point in time.
