PART 5 --------- Ayane begins her venture out into the submerged path. She decides to take it slowly, afraid of what could happen if she chose to be reckless in any capacity. Lots of fallen debris stood in the way, but Ayane is carefully able to maneuver around, taking her time to not cause any other problems for herself. Luckily, the vague shapes she was able to see were all that she needed to get past this first blockade of an obstacle. However, going so slowly meant Ayane would be losing air faster than she would be potentially making progress. The girl is already beginning to get concerned with how far she’ll make it with her air slowly depleting. As Ayane continues onward, she uses her hand to help guide herself safely into the path. However, Ayane suddenly feels her hand press into the wall, creating a faint clicking noise. She turns her head towards her hand, but is unable to see much. Her attention would soon be diverted as the girl turns her head around in response to another noise, much louder than the last, that she heard behind her. Ayane suddenly feels a sharp pain cut through her upper chest. Her blurry vision tells her that something is poking out of her body. Her mind is late to process that she had just been pierced by some kind of spear. The realization makes Ayane blurt out much of her air in terror, as she slowly brings her hand up to the rod. She can see traces of blood leaking out from the wound, getting diluted in the water. As Ayane is finally able to softly grip onto the rod with her right hand, she is completely panicked as to how to handle the situation. She closes her mouth tight, knowing that keeping in her precious oxygen is an important part of this. Yet, the pain of being stabbed starts overwhelming the young girl, making her want to scream. Even through her best efforts, air still escapes through her shut mouth. Unfortunately, Ayane failed to realize how much air she had already lost through all of this, especially with being so focused on her injury. Right there, Ayane quickly begins drowning, letting out all the air she has left in tandem to losing all her remaining composure. Drowning was painful, getting stabbed felt just as bad, Ayane could only feel the worst amount of suffering in her last moments before her consciousness finally gave out. Right when everything goes black, Ayane wakes up in a shallow pool of water. Tears pour out her eyes, flowing down her mortified face. As she struggles to pick herself up, Ayane sees the ghost girl from before standing in front of her. The girl is looking at a torii gate, but soon turns around to look down upon Ayane. Ayane can’t even process what just happened, she only feels like breaking after the experience that she felt. She is lost and afraid… story credit : https://twitter.com/UW_Taiki ----------------------------------------------------- the situation looks grim, what should she do... https://strawpoll.com/NPgxEPLa4Z2 ----------------------------------------------------- we still designing how the status screen would affect this, and how the air gauge work.. we can't implement it for this part, but we'll try to implement it on next part also i might going back to the old style of manga drawing, and mixing it with this art style next time... sorry for keep experimenting with artstyle xD, sometimes one style constrain just didn't work for some situation so i need to look for solution...

Personally, I think the underwater scenes went a little too fast.(or too little underwater?) If it's the same story, I might be inclined to split in two part (6-8page):The first part ends with the spearattack (The options maybe how todealing with the spear) , and thesecond half ends with the present.of course that's just my opinion XD

The first of what I suspect will be quite a few watery ends for this poor girl
