Hey everyone!

First of all sorry for the lack of updates recently. Arbuz is still safe for now but as you know the situation in Ukraine is volatile, so we wont communicate too much about it.

Now for the game progress itself, obviously Arbuz isn't able to work very much, between the aerial alarms and other duties, but he still streams once in a while on picarto, if you want to catch him up. Here is a sneak peek of Nailah's pole dancing.

Osh'to scene animations are being finalized, only leaving it's integration into the game to be done.

Her quest is still being worked on with most assets needed finished, leaving mostly the writing and implementation to be completed.

We added a bunch of worms corpses to satiate your needs, so they wont just disappear upon defeat:

And unundeads:

The new combat cards design have been implemented, replacing the placeholders that dated from our first tech demo. But in addition to the aesthetic aspect of it, it is now easy to distinguish the cards by their rating (A B C S), C cards being trivial to deal with while A ones are fearsome. S are special cards that may be invoked by the other cards.

We reworked the Troglodyte combat kit. He now creates spores areas that hinder the characters traversing them.

We are planning to add more area of effect abilities (molotov, smoke bomb...), in order to make the combat more dynamic. For example this consumable gear item will dismiss the spore / fire / smoke areas where is it used (Clean Air).

Etherek made a new modular female lizard sprite, with a lot of variations to use as random NPC.

We finally implemented an updater into the game, allowing to update the files between versions, so you wont need to worry to download the whole thing every time. Incidentally it also allows to start playing the game while downloading the files not immediately needed in the background. So new players can start playing seamlessly at around 23% of the download. That should mitigate the issue of the game size becoming quite big.

Thank you for keeping up with us despite our slow progress lately, we will try to move the project forward regardless of the obstacles ahead.

Have a sleepy Osh'to and take care of yourselves during these dark times.

Looks like a good update, that ranking system for cards seems useful and really looking forward to those new scenes. And Goddamn Osh'to is so gorgeous
