No use over-explaining things here: This build provides pretty much all the features the previous builds had on offer, but runs on top of Android 11 with Google Play support built-in.

It also adds a bunch of new drivers for USB WiFi & BT dongle users as well as a new alternative first-time installation method for all those users that previously struggled with the MaskROM method!

For more details please check the full changelog below!

How to install: Download and install 7zip on your system, download either all MaskROM or all SDFlash files attached to this post (depending on your chosen installation method), unpack the file ending with .001 by right-clicking it and choosing "7-Zip -> Extract Here" and finally open README.txt for further instructions. Either installation method will work (MaskROM or SDFlash), but SDFlash is the most user-friendly method available and as such is what I suggest to newcomers.

Things to note when updating from a previous build: You will lose your data upgrading to this build, so make sure to back your data up!

For those needing root: Magisk comes pre-installed, but needs to download some supporting files to function properly. Please connect to your local WiFi at least once, open Magisk and finish the first-time setup to enable root!

Changelog

  • First Android 11 build
  • Google Apps are now pre-installed (one step less for users)
  • Galaxy S21 Android 11 fingerprint is now enabled by default (required as RG552 has no valid GMS fingerprint)
  • OC feature has been ported over (Interactive, 1.8GHz, 2.0GHz & 2.2GHz)
  • Fan control feature has been ported over (Auto, Off, Medium, High)
  • Gamepad layout switch feature has been ported over (Nintendo, XBOX)
  • Borderless 16:9 HDMI output feature has been ported over
  • MicroSD card dismiss feature has been ported over
  • Touchscreen button mapper feature has been ported over (press the F button to use it)
  • 5GHz WiFi dongle support has been ported over (requires a Realtek-based USB dongle, I suggest a rtl8821cu combo dongle but other dongles may work as well)
  • BT dongle support has been ported over (requires a Realtek-based USB dongle, I suggest a rtl8821cu combo dongle but other dongles may work as well)
  • Several new Realtek USB dongle drivers have been added (we now support rtl8188fu, rtl8188eu, rtl8812au, rtl8821au, rtl8192cu, rtl8192eu, rtl8814au and rtl88x2bu, this should allow chip-upgraded units to easily dual-boot between Android & JelOS without having to worry about chip drivers)
  • APTX & APTX-HD BT audio codecs have been ported over (including variable bitrate / low-latency output)
  • Ported the Parsec / XBOX Game Pass hardware decoder colorspace fix over
  • The force landscape rotation feature has been ported over (its enabled by default now)
  • The SDFlash installation method is now supported as well
  • Magisk in-app upgrade is finally working right (due to the new bootloader supporting standard Android boot images)
  • TWRP has been (temporarily) removed (it needs fixing & will come back in a future build)

Hey Black, hope you had an awesome week. Was just wondering if you had any idea when the updated image with exFat support will drop? Are we still on track for today? No rush, was just curious. Hope all is well. :)

I hope so. Got all the issues nailed that you guys reported. But I prefer to double-check everything.
