I've been working on the next feature set, experimenting with things that might be my next "big" target. For now, I have some interesting things coming in the next patch that I think will interest a lot of players, especially those who play longer games. The ones I'm willing to talk about revolve around friendships and the overly-stuffed relationships panel in particular.

The relationship panel gets really, really clogged up with Sims you do not necessarily care about. I've created a new cheat that will take care of that - Carl.FixFriends followed by a number (or left to default) will automatically remove relationships of Sims with low friendship from your panel, so long as they are not family and not in the active household.

Another cheat is coming that will be very handy if you just want to remove "friends" that your Sim hasn't actually ever met. Carl.FixNotMet will remove all Sims that yours has never met. Players with high reputation or who do things like DJ at the club will find that this cleans up the friendship panel quite a lot.

The big one, which will be entirely optional, as it should be... an automatic pruner that will run daily and check for friends that are at exactly 0 on both romance and friendship, and automatically remove them based on the rules we mentioned above. This is going to keep the friends panel nice and tidy for you. I'm looking forward to sharing these in the next updates to Gameplay Overhaul and Tuning-Only.

Omg incredible!! By active households do u also mean the households in the save overall (cuz I’d love that since every other npc relationship is disposable but I like my active households to atleast know of eachother) or did u mean the active household as in roommates, should they not be related on a certain lot?

I can probably look to see if the household has been played before that's not an awful idea thank you

in future it would be really cool to have a shop for clothes mod, where you can only access cas clothing from what you have purchased

I want this so badly... I wish it were possible to modify CAS. Start with clothes, but have to earn money to buy fancy ones!

I recently installed the simplified version of this mod, just to try the restaurant fixes and it's awesome! My little simself took his date for a meal and they remained sitting, chatting & eating all the way through! All of the unplayed Sims were doing their usual wandering around - but they didn't disturb my household & the waitress didn't once dump a pile of dirty dishes on the table :) It's shockingly good. Thank you so much for fixing the mess

Would you consider adding options to disable the social menu reorganization and the "LEAVE" interaction? I'd like to be able to use the existing menu reorganization mods I was using and I also find it kind of annoying seeing an all caps "LEAVE" every time I click on a Sim. I rarely use the "LEAVE" interaction so it just kind of clutters up my menu. An option to disable it or hide it behind a Shift + Click would be ideal.

I actually love the LEAVE being so easily found, I use it almost constantly to remove the annoying NPC's who are continually trying to insert themselves into my sims conversations. It works so smoothly and never causes resets etc so I think it would be a shame to make it function like a cheat.

Some of us and probably most of us enjoy THE MORE user friendly experience when playing the game. Less clicks to open the fridge or to make another SIM go away. Carl your mod is making the game fun again.

hi Carl, thank you so much for your hard work. your mod is a lifesaver and makes the game so much more playable! I just had a suggestion/question, I was wondering if there was a way to turn off the changes the mod makes to the potion of youth lifetime satisfaction reward. I prefer the way the feature originally functions, it's just a personal preference that fits the rhythm of my playstyle better. If there isn't a way to disable that specific feature, it would be amazing if it could be an option to turn it off in the settings. However, I understand if that's too niche of a suggestion. All the best!

That's great that you get use out of it. All I'm asking for is an option to disable it. I don't have a problem with Sims inserting themselves into my Sims conversations. I'd rather not have interactions I don't use taking priority in an already full pie menu.

Is there a chance of burglars being a standalone mod at some point? I'm really interested in those, but even the lite version of GO touches enough other systems that I suspect it won't play nice with the suite of mods I already have installed. (plus I'm not really interested in the dieting changes... I have to think about that stuff enough in real life, sigh.) It's amazing work though, I'd still have subscribed either way for the wedding fixes alone :D
