Paprika Trainer - Beta V0.17.0.4 download (Patreon)

All right folks. 2021 has rolled around and with it comes a new update to the game! It's a big one. Loooads of new things have been added and the story has progressed. I'll include the changelog like always.

What's new?

• Story continued
• 3 new underwear added to the mall (1 for each spy)
• Added 4 outfits for purchase at the mall. These are old Jester Card rewards.
• Outfits glitches fixed (previously inaccessible outfits can now be gained)
• New stripper CG added (Silva and Britney)
• Jerry meets Player CG added
• New outfits for Sam available at 2DYE4.
• Reset button added in the 2DYE4 store.
• New facial expressions added to old scenes
• Added new background to all 5 mission areas (requires grappling hook)
• Hookshot points added in missions
• Relation on Status screen now reflects how close a friend you are to your spies
• Placeholder art replaced
• Art assets for modeling overhaul added (not yet implemented)
• Bugfixes (like always)

!IMPORTANT! First things first, I have an announcement to make.

I'm switching from $ Dollars to € Euros for the Patreon. This is what this means for you.

Q. "Does that mean I have to pay more?"

A. No, if you pledge $1, you will still pledge $1. It just means I get paid in Euro instead of Dollar, which saves me a lot in transfer fees. AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT PAY EXTRA BECAUSE OF THIS CHANGE.

Q. "I am in a country that uses the Euro. What should I do?"

A. If you're currently pledging then your euro gets turned into dollar and then back into euro for me. All along costing transfer fees. So I encourage you to change your pledge to € instead.  More info here. 

If for some reason you don't want to change, then that's fine too. =) In that case nothing will change.

Q. "I'm not in a country that uses the Euro. What should I do?"

A. Nothing at all. Nothing will change for you. You will not pay more than you already are. =)

Q. "Why change?"

A. There's a number of reasons why I needed to change. I'm in a country that uses €, so that means every month I have to pay expensive transfer fees. On top of that, most of my artists prefer Euro over Dollar. The whole currency balancing act is simply costing too much money, which instead of going to big banks, could be going to more art for the game instead. Finally, doing my taxes is a nightmare. Hopefully this will make that a bit easier.

Q. "When?"

A. As of this announcement I'll be changing the currency. Depending on the time you're reading this, it might've already happened.

Q. "THIS IS NEW AND STRANGE TO ME, SHOULD I PANIC?"

A. Nope, like I said, nothing will change and you will not pay extra. It just means people who use the € can change their currency pledge from dollar to euro to avoid transfer fees.

Okay, with that out of the way. Let's move to what's new in this update!

Jester Card Codes

As with the new system. Patron rewards can now be found here. Instead of being PM'd to you. If for some reason you're experiencing issues after the currency change, please let me know ASAP. According to Patreon, nothing should've changed, but I'm just making sure.

New strippers

As was suggested, Silva and Britney deserve some time in the spotlight, which is why they can now dance on stage in the stripclub. They're on Podium 2, so go check them out!

New sexy underwear

Three new sexy underwear have been added for purchase at the mall. These three sexy outfits were inspired by a rule 34 picture I saw by carelessdoodler. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link his NSFW stuff, but that's his name, so look him up when you get the chance!

Outfits glitches

Before now you couldn't collect the full gangster outfits due to a bug. I've fixed that, so now you can get the complete Aces, Drift Punk and Outsider outfits at the mall if you have enough reputation. Some of the older Jester Card outfits has also been added to the mall!

Grappling Hook

Added a few new uses to the grappling hook. It can now be used in 3 different backgrounds. There's also an entirely new background during missions for all 5 mission areas. This background can only be traversed if you have the hookshot.

Story continued

Aaaand finally, the story has been continued. You can now clear the top floor of WOOHP HQ. I encourage you to make a save before that though, cause not all of the new story has been implemented yet and there's no way back.

No new animations

Stuff is happening behind the scenes for the animations as well. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get in contact with Moulin Brush anymore, so I've begun looking for puppeteers / animators again. It's a job that not many people have experience with, so filling the position is a challenge. More info about that soon.

Wrapping up

Phew~.... January has been productive! Bugfixes are released this weekend like always, so be sure to report them if you see any! Thank you all very much for your support again. PT has been a very fun journey and I love making it.

We're slowly but surely reaching the end though~.... So what's in store for us next? I can't tell you yet, but I'll be trying my hands at an original IP next! We're in pre-pre-pre(lol pre) production but I've already talked and gotten 4 artists on board and we're all excited to get started!
