BTW, the way I'm trying to get these things setup for discounts here is arranging an affiliate partnership, but where the affiliate earnings are in a coupon or savings to my Patrons rather than my commission. Some companies are more open-minded than others, but it'd be awesome if my supporters here somehow SAVED money overall while still supporting the content!

MOD Devices are the best! With the Dwarf coming in this year it'll be a good year for LV2 and Linux in music production ;) I'm very tempted to get a footswitch .. but really I should diy one :D

Hm, I'm wondering about this or the Empress Zoia. I play guitar, some piano, and have recently got into synths. I need to do a bit of research.

Do you have any modular stuff? I'd say the Duo is best for amp sims and dialing in tone. The ZOIA is best for losing hours in fx and making spacy generative tunes.

Hey, no I'm still pretty basic at this point. I have no hardware synths, although I am looking at a purchase sometime this year. I'm all VSTs currently. I'm looking for something portable that will process inputs from a midi keyboard and an electric guitar, and that allows me a lot flexibility for effects, and basic synths . The Mod Duo X seems to fit this bill fairly well (although I think any currently built-in synth mod is pretty basic). So it appears the the Mod Duo X can process multiple inputs simultaneously, with minimal latency. At least that's my impression. Still doing research. I had actually thought maybe an iPad and a input adapter could accomplish something similar, with even more flexibility, but I have yet to explore that. I don't currently own an iPad, so I'd probably buy an iPad pro if I went this route.

The Duo looks cool, although I'm not, honestly, sure what all it does(everything?). I'll have to watch some videos on it.
