Hey all, hope you're doing well!

I thought I'd pop in and give you a preview of one of this month's rewards - "Wishful Thinking". This one is a self contained animation that is trying to lay into a bit more comedy than last month's Cursed affair.

It's a pretty straight forward one, and this clip doesn't have music or sfx but hopefully it will give you a sense of what's in store!

I'll laugh my ass off if her answer to that is "It'll be easier for BEGrove to render".

Situations and dialog like this are why you are the best.

I'll give em a proper shout out when it's fully released, but I am very happy with their work so far :)

Can we a spoiler to what transformations might be occurring?

Humor is definitely a great asset to make this a masterpiece :)

begrove

I'm afraid this one only has the physical transformation of BE.

Masterpiece would be nice, but I'm really just aiming for enjoyable :D

I’d love to see some clothes ripping at some point. They usually start naked

begrove

And I'd love to do some, unfortunately ripping cloth in 3D is actually very difficult. Most cloth simulators at the 'lower than pixar' level tend to treat a mesh's structural integrity as a singular object, and will explode rather than 'rip' when pressed too far. A cloth ripping simulator that can work on entire pieces of clothing (rather than just a flat plane, for example) is something I've been hoping for since day 1 of moving to 3D. To my knowledge there's nothing that does it yet, but I am constantly on the lookout for that functionality to be added.
