What species should we implement for the next release?

I weep at the lack of an avian option. Hopefully there will be more variety sometime in the future?

Honestly I'd be happy with any of these, would it be an eastern or western themed dragon head?

Any chance of previous characters returning? I imagine it will be a while before we're able to pose multiple characters at once, but what about objects like furniture, or toys like beach balls and pool noodles? Only curious.

Definitely. Avians is something that will be implemented at some point. Right now we're in the process of implementing the same species that existed in Yiffalicious 1. It's just a matter of in what order, so we thought we'd let you in on this decision. :)

Definitely. You may have noted we're implementing the same species that existed in Yiffalicious 1, and it is our intention to recreate the old Yiffalicious characters in YL2 as examples.

Wouldn't a giraffe head require yet more changes to the neck model, though? I know playing around with the bone scaling can produce pretty long necks, but will that be enough? People could end up wanting to have more articulation than just one neck and one head bone, too, if given such great length to play with.

Let us worry about the technical details. :) (Yeah, we'd have to make some changes to how necks work so proper articulation could be made for giraffe head.)

Dragons are of course the most generically popular but I think giraffe would be unique and interesting to see. I could also see giraffe taking a really long time to implement and get right.

It will happen, of course. We're in a very early stage of all this, so some things will still change and there's tons of stuff we still need to do. Tutorials will happen closer to release. Our top priority right now is to get the cloud sharing up and running. With that, there will be plenty of characters to learn from.
