Fandoms Mod (BETA TEST V.1) (Patreon)

The first part of the fandom mod is finally ready!

Your Sim will be able to join a fandom and declare themselves fans of games, movies, or/and singers.

These above are all of the fandom options your sim will be able to join.  The fandom singers are fictional, but they are all based on real-life singers and bands from around the world. The games and movies are based on the actual game so these are movies and games your sim will interact with.

Your Sim can join as many fandoms as they want. You can find the "Join on Fandom" option when you click on the active sim.

The other mod options you can find on the computer. You can now buy movies and games before being able to play with them but read the note I make about this down below if you want to use this optional addition.

Open Blog About

Opening a fandom blog is also a new option now for your sim. Same with writing fanfiction, great opportunities could happen to your sim if they are a skilled writer. 

Read and Write Fanfic

Your sim will be able to write its own fan fiction and publish it online. There are also many opportunities that can come from writing fanfiction depending on how skilled your sim is. You can also read fanfiction if your sim is not a writer.

Find Upcoming Events

Your sim can also attend concerts using the find upcoming events feature. Your sim does not have to be a fan of a singer to attend these concerts. They can do it either way, but the experience is much better if they are a fan.

Once your sim is notified that there is a concert, you will be alerted once ticket sales go live. Depending on when the concert will take place you will be able to purchase tickets. 

But if the concert is happening soon, you will only be able to buy tickets from resale websites, which will be way more expensive and may really upset your sim. Some tickets are harder to get by than others and your sim may need to keep trying to buy tickets. 

This is the first part of my fandom mod. I want feedback and reports on this part. I have a lot of planned features that I am excited to share. 

Buy Movies and Games optional package: Adding this package will require you Sims to buy the games and movies before watching or playing them. But if you buy a movie for example you will be able to watch it but you will notice that if you want to watch it with other people, like non-household members you will need to give them "Access to Movies and Games" you can simply do this by enabling testing-cheats, leftshit clicking on a Sim and then this issue will be resolved. But this package is optional you do not need to download it. This package might also conflict with other mods that override this system. So keep that in mind.

Yes, but first I need testers and feedback on what I have already done. I need to make sure this first part is bug free.

How to install the mod?

DELETE the optional "maplebell_fandoms_buymoviesandgames(OPTIONAL).package" if you do not want it.
