Declined payments, just a regular look behind the scenes. (Maybe monthly if anyone cares lol) (Patreon)

Declined payments are a matter I started to take seriously after September. I promised you an animated Ty Lee comic when we stay at 200 Patrons but that number always took some kind of nose-dive at the end of each month. The cause for this massive drop every time are declined payments (well and people who cancel their pledge but there's nothing wrong with that, just to be clear :) ). I gathered over 35 declined payments since I started my Patron, I started blocking some who got declined since MORE THAN A YEAR. A month later I settled on blocking Patrons who got declined for more than 3 months, I think it's enough time to fix an issue like that.

Hey there,

just informing you that your payment got declined. For some it's the  first time for others it's a reaccuring pattern over the past few  months. 

It would be nice if you could look into that matter :)

If your payment info still gets rejected after 3 months of declined  payment I have to block you because even though you aren't paying, you are still counting to my total of supporters and that messes with Patron milestone goals/specials big time.

It's not nice dealing with those issues but I slacked off on declined payments for too long in the past, if I want a clear number of supporters I have to get rid of people who get declined over and over again so I don't promise rewards like a comic for 200 Patrons only for it to get canceled a week later due to a massive Patron drop.
