Big news!

We found out last Friday that we somehow booked ourselves for the Origins Game Fair 2023 in Columbus, Ohio, at the end of this month (June 21st through June 25th). So, over the last few days, I've scrambled to get a full-length, never-before-seen adventure titled The Horror at Fort Orc'igin.

Here's the description:

"Who Goes There?"
Introducing The Horror at Fort Orc'igin, a thrilling adventure module designed by DMDave exclusively for the Origins Game Fair 2023. This tournament module is tailored for a party of six courageous characters, each with an average party level of 5.
Prepare to delve into a harrowing horror story as the characters find themselves facing a relentless and insidious threat known as the flesh. This virus-like entity possesses the ability to assimilate its victims and flawlessly imitate them, spreading its deadly influence with each assimilation. In this grim tale, the flesh has taken control of Fort Orc'igin, an orcish fortress shrouded in darkness and despair.
The fate of the fort and its surviving inhabitants rests upon the shoulders of the characters. Tasked with infiltrating the stronghold, their mission is twofold: to confront and destroy the flesh, ending its nefarious reign, and to rescue any survivors who may still cling to hope within the fortress walls.
The Horror at Fort Orc'igin is a limited edition module, available exclusively during the dates of the Origins Game Fair 2023—from June 21 through June 25. With its atmospheric horror elements, challenging encounters, and a race against time, this unique adventure promises an unforgettable experience for both players and gamemasters alike. Will you and your party have what it takes to confront the flesh and save Fort Orc'igin from its grisly grip? Join the adventure and find out.

This was originally intended to be "Citadel of the Whispering Wraith", but I felt that this story was more compelling; plus, it features a map of Tom's I've never used, his orc fortress.

Who gets this book?

This is the first time we've ever made a LIMITED EDITION book, meaning that it will only be for sale for the five-day period that we're participating at Origins 2023—Wednesday, June 21st to Sunday, June 25th.

Here's how you can get it:

  • You can buy a physical copy at the Origins Game Fair for $20. We will have other book deals there, too. We will have approximately 500 copies available.
  • You can buy a physical copy on our website for $20 + shipping (US, Canada, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand only).
  • Or you can get a PDF copy on our website for $15.
  • If you are a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond patron, you get a physical and digital copy FREE as your Patron Reward for the month of June 2023.
  • If you are an Electrum patron, you get a PDF copy FREE as your Patron Reward for the month of June 2023.

Limited means limited!

Once Origins wraps up at 5:00 pm EST on Sunday, June 26th, you will not be able to purchase this book in any way, shape, or form except in the secondary market (i.e. eBay). No exceptions! Even the PDF on this Patreon page will be removed, so you only have a few days to download it.

Upgrade to Guarantee Your Copy

If you want to ensure that you will get a physical copy, make sure that you are a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond patron by June 21st, 2023, with your current shipping address. I will download the current patron list at 5:00 pm EST.

If you want to ensure that you get the PDF version, make sure that you are at least an Electrum level patron from the dates of June 21st, 2023 (5:00 pm EST) until June 25th, 2023 (5:00 pm EST), and you download it.

Is this a cheesy sales gimmick?

Yes. Yes, it is.

Why don't you ship to The Netherlands? Al my neighbouring countries can get it, but i, the poor old dutchie is left behind.

dmdave

I might! It’s just logistically difficult since our printer won’t ship from there as they will with the other countries.

I guess PDF is also fine haha. Thank you, for replying.
