My friend told me that Toyota is coming, and asked me to respond to a video from Yahoo Finance. The video is biased and misleading. It is clear that the Yahoo Finance team prob have sponsors who are ICE car makers, and they are trying to protect their interests by spreading misinformation about Tesla and that Toyota is going to beat them in 2023.

Tesla's Model Y world's best-selling car, but is it sustainable? Ask Yahoo Finance!🤡🌏

#Tesla #ModelY #BestSellingCar #Toyota #Competition #2023 #BEV Yahoo Finance automotive reporter Pras Subramanian discusses Tesla's Model Y becoming the world's first best-selling EV car, beating Toyota's Corolla, as well as Toyota vehicles popularity. Tesla Model Y is the world's best-selling car in Q1 2023, beating out Toyota Corolla and RAV4. Tesla cut prices to achieve this, which hurt its margins. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is not worried about margins, as he wants to grow the install base and sell higher-margin software products. Toyota still has a strong presence in the global market, as four of the top five best-selling cars are Toyota models. Tesla is still relatively new in Asia, but it is trying to grow in markets like Thailand, India, and Indonesia. It is too early to say if Tesla will be able to maintain its position as the best-selling car in the world, but it has made a good start in Q1.

90% of everything is crap. Combine this with nobody knows anything, and get endless feeds of stuff like this.

Corporate Media = Compromised Media

They fear the advertising campaign coming from Tesla

My 77yr old mother in law keeps mentioning that the Washington DC/ Northern Virginia area is ALL Tesla. Wherever she goes everyone drives Tesla...

I've yet to be convinced that firstly, there's enough of the raw materials in the ground to sustain the electrical revolution; and secondly, that mining for these materials is not in many respects still detrimental to the environment. Maybe a question for the Q and A ?

Brilliant James, that's why we subscribe to you... accurate and unbiased KPM

Or the electrical grid infrastructures can handle the extra electrical loads. They get blackouts all the time as it is .

Epic thank you James!

Love my Toyota, great car. I don’t understand how everything thinks Tesla is going to be the only car maker in 5 years time. Toyota even trades at a modest P/E of 10, it’s not like it’s stealing investment dollars from Tesla. People have become to emotionally defensive of their Tesla investments, that they can only see threats to it, and not the reality that many other automakers will continue to coexist in the future.

My Rav4 last me 22 years at 400k miles and still going love it

What about the just leaked Tesla files? Does that change the recommendation?

In Europe Tesla cars all or most, according to my tyre maintenance friends, have wheel alignment issues.

Agree. Toyota is the most sold car manufacturer of all time. They succeeded in pioneering the hybrid market. And pioneered lean manufacturing influencing how the world produces almost anything these days. They are one of the very few remaining to still make a real off road car and simply one of the best car producers. Not everything is a fight to the death even though some brands seem to inspire that sort of thinking.

Thanks James.I'm looking forward to watching it. Toyota have messed this up so badly. I wonder if Elon thinks it's Toyota will go under inside of 12 months.

Keep em coming James! Love it

Very, very dangerous to fall in love with one particular company or stock- it can’t love you back

Anonymous

No problem to fall in love with a stock or crypto as long as the fundamentals do not change

Anonymous

I bought my Toyotas because of its dependability and my Tesla stocks because of its fundamentals.

I have noticed lots of negativity towards Tesla and realize I don’t always agree with the “experts”.

Anonymous

💯 agree great comments ….Toyota make great cars and they can all coexist which they will …..

How is Toyota’s BEV’s doing? LOL

I don't think they were being overly critically and maliciously wrong. They were just wrong about a couple things. You're just super passionate about Tesla. Btw, I did a speech presentation on TSLA and how you should invest in them in 2012 when I was in college. Should have taken some of that student loan money and sank it in then.

Toyota 4 cylinder cars are very dependable, I still got my 2001 highlander and 2006 corolla. When both cars give out, I will definitely get myself a Tesla

If you watch this guy he goes through the numbers for car makers in China etc. Toyota underwater to the tune of 200B same as Volkswagen https://youtu.be/yomP0cd6Z7g
