No more $5 and $2 tiers + a light rework of $1 and $10 tiers (Patreon)

TL;DR: My workflow has changed a lot over the years, and thus I need to restructure how I run things here on Patreon. $5 and $2 tiers are gone, WIPs are going to be posted in Discord only from here on, no more monthly polls - replaced by a new system which $1 and $10 tiers both get to vote in.

To summarize, it's been a while since I first made this Patreon and setup the tiers, and simply put my workflow has changed a lot since then. 

I no longer find it feasible to create 1 picture and 1 animation per month, both decided by polls. Instead, I find it much more motivating and enjoyable to just pick a a character who I personally think fits the scene I want to make the best. In addition, not being restrained by having to make 1 picture and 1 animation gives me more creative freedom to experiment like I've been doing recently. Based on the reception, I consider this a much better way of producing content. 

Right now I want to make more animations like that D.va one. Animations that let me put more expression into the final product. And I can best do that without having to worry too much about running things on Patreon. 

As a part of reducing the Patreon workload, I am also gonna stop posting WIPs on here. Since making the Discord server, I have found Discord to be a much better platform for engaging with people and getting feedback. Part of that is due to me just always being on Discord anyway, and part of it is the design of the platform itself. Sharing WIPs and sneak peeks on Discord is more engaging as I feel I can get more immediate feedback on things and have a back-and-forth with people on the server. Compared to Patreon, Discord just makes the process of uploading WIPs and getting feedback way more streamlined and seamless. Ngl, Patreon's post tools kinda suck (still no option to embed videos to this day without linking to a 3rd party site!)

I know it sucks to have lost something in your tier, but honestly I haven't even been holding up my end of the barging for the past few months (there haven't been many WIPs posted here), so you're not losing much D:

However, I am not getting rid of polls entirely! Instead, I am going to stop having them every month and instead have them whenever I feel like. Having polls can be a nice way to get guidance on a character to use or an idea to use, and I think using polls this way is going to be more beneficial to me.

This new poll format is going to be available to both tiers, meaning $1 tier now gets to vote on things, which is good because there are a lot of you guys in the $1 tier which means I get more feedback on polls!

To summarize, the new tier system going forward will looks like this:

$1:

• Chance to vote on a character to be featured in an animation. (NEW)
• Access to Mega Drive archive (720p).

$10:

• Chance to vote on a character to be featured in an animation. (NEW)
• Access to FULL QUALITY, non-watermarked content!
• Access to Mega Drive archive (full quality content + project files!)
• Access to Discord server where you can chat with me, give feedback on WIPs and see sneak peeks of stuff I'm working on 👀
