573 episodes in and the Paradise fire finally broke me. I grew up in the west I still live here I’ve been in so many towns similar to it. You broke me Dave finally got me to cry at a podcast, thank you PG&E.

I remember when San Bruno blew up. I was in a horticulture class at City College in SF with a whole bunch of first responders. ALL of them were called in at the same time. You could see the flames through the pea soup San Francisco fog on the other side of fucking Mt. Davidson. All night. Absolute fucking Insanity.

I live in the Central Valley and the air was insane during the Paradise fire. My neighbor's cousins thankfully survived the fire.
