Dear Friends. I want to open the curtain of what I cook for you.

First of all, RX-TUNER will get more convenient interface with scrolling, there will be a window informing you which profile is active at the moment, and also a "drum roll" of additional video adapter settings, which can not be offered by Adrenalin.  For example current limit, voltage for VRAM or Soc. You want to get more than 3000MHz over the core, that's reality.

Pretty advanced users have dealt with PowerPlay tables before. HYDRA will allow you to work more comfortably with them. You do not need to load a dump of the video card bios, extract the PowerPlay table from it and only then work with it. HYDRA does it automatically and most importantly for up to 6 adapters at the same time.

The second important feature of the future update is the additional stage of configuring the power settings for underwiring or overclocking. The proposed parameters are my individual recommendation for your adapter, which will allow to reduce VRAM temperature and also to increase adapter performance (fix "core current hunger").

I haven't forgotten about overclocking either. It will also be in a future update.
Of the minor changes - by popular request, the ability to select a preset timings for diagnostics and a reset button was added. The new 22.7.1 drivers will also be supported in the new release.

In addition to all of the above, I continue to work on improving diagnostics and HYBRID OC. I actively read all of your comments.

As for the release date, I haven't made up my mind yet. The introduction of new technologies requires careful testing, but in any case you will see an update this month.

Will you try implementing undervolt with CPU?

Anonymous

I'm unable to run GPU "DO OVERCLOCKING" however, "DO UNDERVOLTING" works perfectly fine.

I think underwriting is an auto correct error, it's meant to say undervolting

Hey boss! Any news on some new 5800x3d features? 🙂

This was implemented a little over a year ago. The user selects the voltage at which the processor will run. The technology is called HYBRID OC.

At this point, only RDNA2.

There is a plan this month regarding diagnostics for this processor.

Please do not forget about CPU OC, maybe make it more "intelligent" in determining (lower preferably) voltages automatically and also not stop the entire diagnostic (on my 5950x its a pain in the A* since it needs more time due to the 16 cores..) because "power limit has been reached" .... if it has been reached then "do something" about it instead of putting phoenix to sleep, waking up phoenix leads to the same issue... I also would like the 95C temp limit to disappear, I mean let my mobo decide if there is an issue, normally I never get 95C it is just for those few seconds hydra does something to the cores... tell you what, make it so that it doesnt stop at or above 95C but let it count if 95C is sustained for more than e.g 30 seconds or something... or at least put it as an option and add a warning if you think its that dangerous (I dont think that :P )

Bill. Why don't you increase the power limits by the settings in Hydra? I have an 5900x and I don't care about undervolting, just about OC but still my temps are never above 80C. I have a Noctua D15 Chromax as cooling. I think You should fix your cooling problems at first.

because lower voltages lead to higher clocks also current version is a lot buggy cant handle to finish a diagnostic when set to high wattage level

Waiting for it Yuri. Thank you for your great work!

Stay safe Yuri, its the most important part. I have a question that i cant seem to find the answer for, is the 5800x3d going to be supported?
