Lost in the woods, the listener finds themselves surrounded by the thrumming of katydids and the last swells of small songbirds while trying to find shelter for the night. With the moon barely angled from above, slanting through the firs and spreading over the grass like an ocean, the forest's deity appears to them with intentions less than chaste.
