百日紅(sarusuberi, crape myrtle)

---

Every morning I forget who I am and I go blank.

I look at my neighborhood, I look at the internet, I look at my pictures, and my self-image is slowly being reconstructed from these impressions.

At night it's like a sludgy canvas, with no room for thought, and I act automatically.

Yes, I almost always find it difficult to choose my actions.

For example, I can't even comment back to you. I am sorry.

I've been there, and it's difficult. It helps to find little joys, and recognize that they make your soul happy. Find who you are from sparks of joy. Be well.

We don’t mind if you can’t reply back to us. It’s okay! I really appreciate your art still.

It's ok if you can't comment back, we all love your work <:-). This happened to me too a lot when I was depressed. Therapy and or medication is expensive but if it's possible I would really recommend it., it's life changing. It's ok to not be ok.

i've been in the same boat, a sense of like. directionlessness, a sense of not being a whole person with a whole identity. i do not mind that you cannot find it in you to reply, i do not want you to feel obligated to do so. i only wish you the best, that you may one day find yourself, and i will continue to support you in my small way on that journey.

That's fine, we all struggle. Just look after yourself, maybe every now and again let us know you're still around ❤️

You are some sort of our idol and we are your fans; there is no pressure and no obligation. Regardless of your "actions", your patrons know you are an interesting artist with a sophisticated mind. Why? Because we love your art pieces! I hope that your difficult time passes soon. Thank you for posting your artwork!

No worries about comments! We're here as unconditional support! The art is just a bonus! As the others have said, the work that you share heals our souls—personally, your art lifts my spirits in times of depression and anxiety (I bet some others are here for the same reason), so this is our way to return the favor! What you are facing is unique, and sounds troubling, but these troubles are valid! Educators these days view knowledge and learning as being reconstructive, almost exactly as you've described (instead of "I remember!", it's more like "I've rebuilt knowledge that I had once before!"). We'll certainly have a hard time rebuilding some days, but on others, that same process is a refreshing start! Treat yourself, take it easy, speak with others if you can, and you may surprise yourself with a happier reconstruction one morning! "Who do I want to be today?" Self-care lifts the anchor where those reconstructions begin from, so please do take care!

Just know that we support you, and want you to be happy and do what you want. Your art is very inspiring for me and you need to do whatever is healthy for your mind, whatever you want to do.
