Chop is a writer who is well-known not only for his emotional and delicate writing style, which gently reflects his life's experiences but also for his charming vintage-style appearance.

As a man who has been through an incomplete marriage, Chop is still finding a balance between his career and taking care of his kid.

Although their relationship is not nearly as smooth as he wants, Chop still loves his son unconditionally and hopes someday his son - Lariat will open his heart to him.

Lariat is Chop's only son, who is working as a freelance programmer.

Unlike his father, he is a wallflower, socially disconnected, and not good at communicating. For that reason, Lariat is often being compared with his pops - who are flawless at everything - by those people around, leading him to feel discomfiting and unconfident about himself.

And because of that, the relationship between Lariat and Chop become more and more strained. Although he loves his father and respects him very much, his insecurities cause them to drift further and further apart.

Lariat hopes that someday, he will flee from his father's shadow and prove to be a better version of him.
