vamX 1.12 New Features

vamX 1.12 Setup:

1) Download vamX1.12.var - for Virt-a-Mate 1.20.77.x
- Or, instead, you can download vamX.1.12.var from Mega 

2) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. Users of vamX.1.11 don't need to download these again.

3) Put var packages in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX.

4) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed).

5) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

6) If you're having problems or want to learn advanced tricks, see vamX Help.

7) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

VAMX VOICE CONTROL

Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.6 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.12 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.12.

Voice Effects Pack (optional)
In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p).

NEW FEATURE - RUSSIAN VOICE

Choice a voice in Sound -> Female Voice & Language.

You can now choose the original Belle voice, Vocal Effects, or the new Lina voice.

Lina is Russian, but also speaks English. You can choose for her voice to be in Russian, English, or a mix. The mix sometimes speaks in Russian, sometimes in English, and sometimes in Russian then immediately translates to English.

Lina is available for all of vamX except for the stories. Each story is tied to a specific voice, currently Belle's.

NEW FEATURE - CUSTOM POSES

We've had a request for a while for a bed pose where the male is performing oral sex on the female (who is lying on her back). You can have this pose fill all 10 default custom pose slots using the vamX 1.12 Default Custom Pose.zip. Download, unzip, then drag the Custom & Saves folders into your Virt-a-Mate folder. Start an Action, then go to Pose -> Move Pose & Custom Poses -> Load Custom Pose 1 to load the pose.

Custom Poses is still in Beta and has the following issues:
1) When saving Bed/Lying poses the male head jumps to look in a certain direction after saving the pose.
2) You must save seated poses while in the original default environment, otherwise the pose will save in the wrong location.

To create a custom pose (Advanced Users or Creators Only!)
1) Go to Pose -> Move Pose & Custom Poses

2) Press Save Custom Poses. Once you press Save Custom Poses vamX will stop animating / moving the people in the scene (until you finish creating and saving the pose).

3) Adjust the pose, or load a new pose, and position both people as you wish. If you don't know how to make poses you'll need to watch other Virt-a-Mate tutorials on creating poses.

4) Choose what you want your pose relative to by pressing one of the SAVE POSE as buttons. In general poses in Virt-a-Mate are saved in an absolute location. In vamX, poses are often saved relative to known locations, such as a good standing area designated for each scene. If you want to create a pose that will load correctly in all vamX environments, put your pose in the appropriate location in the default vamX Antique Room (fireplace room) and choose to save relative to the bed, standing or seated locations. For example, if you place your new pose in the same place as the normal standing poses in the Antique Room (which is by the dresser and mirror in that room) then choose SAVE POSE as Standing Pose, your new pose will load in the standing pose location in all vamX Scenes.

5) Choose a save slot. There are 10 save slots that are SHARED. If you save a standing pose into slot 1, then later save a seated pose into slot 1, you will overwrite the standing pose.  You can save up to 10 total custom poses.

6) Your pose won't be perfect the first time. vamX tries to align your new pose to vamX's variety of sexual actions. You will probably need to adjust your pose a few times and click Save again if you want your pose to be well aligned. Not all custom poses will be able to align perfectly even after adjustment.

You can then quickly load custom poses using the Pose -> Move Pose & Custom Poses -> Load Custom Pose 1 (through 10) buttons.  You can also load (but not save) Custom Poses with voice commands, such as Load Custom Pose 1, or just Custom Pose 1.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

Improved pose exploding errors due to hand movements. The prior update solved most pose exploding issues aside from those caused by hand movements.  Hand movements were still quite often causing the poses to explode.  This update reduces the virtual weight/pull of the female hands, so they move more gently. This causes them to pull & push the body out of place less, resulting in stopping explosion errors due to hand movements. This greatly reduces explosion errors in vamX.

Improved issue where penis was falling out in certain looks during automatic vamX pose changes. When Start Thrust was initiated, and arousal was low, if the pose changed while the people weren't having sex the penis could easily fall out.  Fixed this.  Pose changes now don't automatically happen during Smart Thrust unless the people are having sex.  Also improved Missionary Splits pose to reduce penis falling out errors in certain looks. This is all still imperfect, and in many situations the penis still falls out. We will continue to improve this in future releases.

MINOR FIXES

Fixed issue where Pose menu didn't show tab as selected when you press the Pose tab.

Fixed issue where the error message help for if vamX isn't working showed the minimum requirement of 1.20, whereas vamX really requires 1.20.77.

Fixed issue in chair poses where female was standing bent over getting fingered. She was trying to look around, twisting her neck in strange ways.  She now keeps her head still in that pose.

BUGS / IN PROGRESS

The new Custom Pose feature is still in progress and will be further improved.

The skin is too shiny in many looks, which will be fixed (and can also be manually disabled) in 1.13.

The mouth can open too wide in high arousal with some looks. This will be improved in 1.13.
