★ I've updated the Gallery's file stuff so it now handles embedded mp4's for that higher quality video action.  Also the video file labels (flash, webm, mp4, gif) run off the actual file type instead of the tag settings now.

ADDITIONAL NEWS
★  If you're wondering what's with the slow down in posting this month here's the story: basically, a while back I bought a screen tablet, but I never got around to breaking it in because I didn't want to gimp anything with the switch (I've never drawn on a screen tablet before, and have been using a little CTE-650 since the beginning).  I figured a screen might open up some new avenues for growth.

Well this month I renovated and modernized my office, so I figured that break in the action was my opportunity to make the switch to the new tablet - and along side that I ended up fully taking the jump from Sai 1 to Sai 2.  So I've essentially been arting in 100% new territory.  I think I've been getting back up to speed pretty quickly, but it is still a little weird.  All of the stuff this month is done with this new combination, so let me know what you think.

(Also for you CGI bros, that week of paint and drilling is where the Redshift/VR testing stuff came in.  Time management!)

The other drama that happened this month is I ran into a couple... Issues with trying a new build of Flash.  Basically, 2020 features a new interface and some cool new shit like better puppet pins and warping, but it also has laggy playback compared to previous versions, and some very strange bugs.  Like when I export the Pink test as an SWF, it jumbles all the symbols up both in the exported file and in the actual work timeline, effectively corrupting the entire animation.  It's very strange, but after a LOT of trial and error in the source file I was able to get it exported as a video, so at least there's that silver lining at the end of this lunacy.

Anyway, closing out April to some breathing room.  Looking to be back active and among the living going into March.

Love ya lads; stay safe n healthy!

im assuming AA stands for Adobe Animation. basically what he upgraded Adobe Flash. and since it's new he does want to continue using it since he could mess it up
