I couldn't wait for these uploads and binged season 1 and 2. I wanted to know if I should keep watching it, if it would get good, and let me tell you... it gets so good! Now I can watch these reactions in peace, knowing it's not going to "cringe" all through.

Would you ever consider watching the movie (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones from 2013) that was based on the first book?. The effects were way better than in Shadowhunters and it actually retains more of the original vibe of the books. I'm may not be a huge fan of Cassandra Clare and her work, but I really liked the movie. I actually like certain characters better in the movie than in the TV show (Clary and Jace to for example). On the other hand, characters like Alec, Izzy and Magnus were underdeveloped there, so I'm glad that the TV series exist and it could give them more spotlight. Even though I wish that Shadowhunters had a bigger budget and was picked by another tv station. ABC shows where never my thing, even though SH are technically on Freeform. But I digress. I hope you give the movie a chance after finishing season one :)
