I think it would be a shame not to mention all the loyal people that stayed with me throughout the last year to this very day and made this movie happen. You rock!


The next project - Gadabout 2

First off: A warm welcome to all new patrons and since you're new, it would be fair to let you know where the ride goes from here.
This a project I have been working on a long time ago and never really completed it.

It includes Tina, Lisa and Kasumi from the DOA Universe.

I've uploaded all the WIPs I have on it, you can find them in the visual tag "wip gadabout ep2" but note: This project will get a rework. What you're seeing here are outdated WIPs so we all can compare how it will look when I finished it at the end.
For the rework WIPs, there is the "WIP Gadabout Ep2 Rework" tag, where the all the work flows into from now on I'll show off the results by uploading WIPs on a weekly basis. Every sunday you'll get to view some smexy action.

The reason why I am reworking it is because I am not happy with it anymore and it would be a downgrade from DM on so many levels. This a reason why you shouldn't let a project get dusty and lay on your HDD for so long : D;

The movie will be a beast of a project, too so reduce endless waiting for me to release something, G2 will be released in severel parts: You can read my pinned general schedule post for more information about that.


Goals

I've never talked about the goals I've set here on the very first day I started my patreon page so it's about time!

I am so grateful that all of them got reached with the release of DM! The latest goal (2300$) was the the main goal on going full time with all the animation stuff but I already did that since the pandemic started because it killed my job and I've used the oppurtunity to do animation full time (thank god I saved up some money over the years).

I think the next big goal would be around 4k to buy a new computer and really reduce these
render times for these big ass projects. The new PC would also help me out to work
with waaaaaaay more advanced 3D programs that I want to learn besides working on my SFM projects.

In comparison:
When I render a 30 secs long scene in SFM, it would take me about 2-3 hours.
When I do that with Blender, it'll probably around 3 days (depending on how complex the scene is even more)... Imagine rendering a full movie with that!
THIS is the reason why you only see loops in Blender.

BUT before even working with Blender, I definitely would like to finish all SFM projects I have planned. So this goal is set for the next 2-3 years.
