The game will only be live for a week or two more, as I'm currently trying to  dissolve my relationship with Nutaku/P*rnhub. ("Nutaku" is just a brand name P*rnhub made up to sell games.)

This was a purely self-funded project. Before you go getting your pitchforks and torches,  know that originally, there was going to be gay content as well. I was forced to cut it for legal reasons. It took me over 4 years to put this game together. There was a lot of starting and stopping, a lot of rejection from publishers, and a high turnover of staff, but I dragged the damn thing over the finish line and I'm incredibly proud of what I achieved.

My goal was to make a beautiful adult game with high end visuals that looked and felt like a game you'd play on a console. I was lucky enough to find an incredibly talented art team who's skill made this a reality. All credit goes to them. Hats off to the 3d modelers, texture artists, vfx artists, and animators who  made the game into what it is.

As for the game's $ performance, well… calling it a "catastrophic financial failure" would be an understatement. The project easily took over $200k to complete and has made back about $7000. So… that's the way the cookie crumbles. If you've been a patron of mine since ~2017, a lot of your support went into making this game.

I wanna be clear: This isn't a sob story: the game failed for a number of reasons. It's got issues, and as hard as my team has worked to try to address them, we haven't been able to turn the situation around. It took less than 3 months for the game to die, and it already costs more to leave it running instead of taking it down.

In the end, that's why I'm sharing it with you. It's several years of work that's about to just disappear.  Go play and have a good giggle about how big I drew the boobies. The main character, the witch Salome, ended up becoming one of the most fun OCs I've ever made.

sidenote:

There's a giant iceberg of a story behind the making of this game which is fraught with bad experiences and bad business deals. I'm not if I'll share this on social media, since I don't feel like dealing with the negative feedback I'd get for recounting a story that is negative in its nature. However, if people are interested in my experience developing games for Nutaku, despite all its rockiness, then maybe I can arrange a videostream to talk about it.

side sidenote:

don't sweat anything guys, i'm totally fine. this is purely a financial failure. it was an ambitious project and I completed it. i'm in no way discouraged to try new gaming ventures in the future.

That really sucks, but it doesn’t reflect on you in any way. Creating a successful product is REALLY hard, and I can count on one hand the number of people I know who’ve managed it. Be proud of yourself for doing as much as you did, and don’t be afraid to try again
