ahh this was such a nice surprise!! i honestly wish fever was longer but i still really like the chorus a lot!! as for not for sale and mixed up, i liked the songs a lot BUT the live stages!!! They are so so good!!! I'm excited for you to react to both of them because I feel like they add a lot!

It’s a pretty vibeyyy album indeed and I really enjoyed it, I really like Fever thoo, it’s right in my alley haha and then Mixed up just pumps me and my mood up. Amazing comeback album, glad u enjoyed it as well! ☺️

This ep is a continuation of the first ep. Like the outro of the first ep leads right into the intro of this ep. I’m pretty sure this outro will do the same for their next comeback which is why it seems like the start of something instead of a conclusion. So really it’s like they took a 12 song album and are splitting it into 3 eps(I’m guessing there will be another in the next 4 months and potentially another after that so maybe 16 songs total in their first year). I’m guessing Fever could have an mv too which is why they haven’t shown a live stage for it. LIKE WHO DOES FULL CHOREO FOR EVERY SONG?! APPARENTLY ENHYPEN AND THERE BETTER BE A CONCERT/TOUR ONCE THEY FINISH THEIR FIRST YEAR!!

Definitely looking forward to your reaction of the other comeback stages!! And the choreo was so great, it adds a little something more to make you really like the songs. Also hope you do a reaction to their drunk-dazed studio choom!! Their intense energy for this song is amazing. Also definitely check out their relay dance for drunk-dazed!

I KNEW PD would break w/ tradition & play the title track. 😄 PD saying they'll do anything for money... NO YOU WON'T FAM!! You've literally talked about how other creators do sketchy stuff for sponsorships that you won't. 😅 As for the b-sides, my favorite is Fever, but I like them all.

I'll be honest, I loved Drunk-Dazed so much I've listened to the album for the past few days in hopes to love the bsides just as much. But I think I really only love Drunk-Dazed and the Intro Invitation. I also really like Fever. But I don't really feel anything for Not For Sale or Mixed Up sadly. I understand they're going for diversity/variety in the album and I love that a lot of other people love the bsides just as much. I personally wish they stuck to a more cohesive horror/carnival/pop-rock theme for the bsides though. I do still love Fever though. (And I've seen ppl say Mixed Up is a bit of hiphop and rock, and despite the drums in the pre-chorus, it really doesn't sound very rock to me -- like PD I also love the pre chorus, but the rest of the song doesn't really work for me PERSONALLY) I really like Enhypen so far, just want to say (other than Fever) the Carnival bsides didn't really hit me.

The multiple dimensions you mentioned might actually be throughout multiple groups. In the Drunk-Dazed MV, K and EJ had werewolves as shadows which has people thinking that the Jpop group made of 5 other ILAND members will carry on with this same supernatural theme, just as werewolves instead. I wonder what multiverse they're creating, sounds a lot like twilight lol especially with that one girl getting the invitation

I'm gonna throw in some thoughts i had while listening to the album: About the intro, it sounds like this could be a Harry Styles song, the soundscape is very similar and I love that, I think it is very refreshing and suits them and their concept surprisingly well. As you said Pd, it sets an interesting tone. 'Drunk-Dazed'. Amazing. Showstopping. Incredible. I won't say anything else because otherwise I'd never stop on how much I love this song. Favourite from the album for sure simply because, as somebody else already said, this is soty material and how could somebody top that! 'Fever' I like more than I would've thought. It's basically the 'Flicker' of this album, but way more polished and interesting, melody wise, it has more depth imo. Couldn't agree more with your commentary btw 'Not For Sale' is fun, the sound is very reminiscent of '10 months', which is without a doubt my favourite b-side from their debut album, so I'm not complaining! I really enjoy this chill summery vibe and it seems it's a style they've chosen to mantain throughout their discography, so in the future I'll expect more of their lighter songs to sound like this. I like it! 'Mixed Up' reminds me a lot of 'Flame On' and I couldn't be happier about it, since we never got an official release for it, which I found a bit sad, it was one of my favourite performances on I-Land. This too, just like 'Fever', is for sure more polished, has also a bit more of a rock vibe in some parts, but the pace and overall tone seems very similar to the I-Land one. The outro, very floaty, very spacey, definitely giving off galaxy vibes. It makes me really curious on what they'll do next!

YES PD SAME SENTIMENTS BASICALLY I always hold the title track in a different regard since it just has to have that magic, you know? Bc gosh I love Drunk-Dazed so much, it's always a pleasure listening to that song. As for b-sides, my faves for the songs in order are Not For Sale, Mixed Up, and Fever! I agree with your vibey descriptor for Not For Sale, it's how I feel! Also considering my fave b-side off the debut ep was 10 Months, I really do like the lighthearted, chill vibe I get from both of those songs. Even though it has no bridge, I think the song works well the way it ends. Mixed Up was almost perfect for me if only they either gave an oomph to the last chorus or made the high note more in your face, but cleanest in terms of song structure and like less repeating lyrics bc woo it actually had a BRIDGE. Fever mmmmm I still love it, she's a mood and the rising nature of the song does match well, BUT the gripe I had with the song was that I wished there was a 2nd verse and prechorus. It used the chorus and post chorus sections a lot, so definitely curious how a performance of this song will look along with its presumed mv since it wasn't performed during the comeback show like Let Me In!

PD the live stages will make you love the songs even more. The live stage for mixed up especially is what made me love the song even more because heeseungs high note at the bridge is actually louder and it fades together properly. My favourite song out of the album is Not for sale because I love the summer and afro vibes it has, the choreo especially sets a focus on the afro side of the song and as an African myself it makes me extremely proud and happy

I looove what they're doing in the intro and outro, in my mind it really has an Arcade Fire vibe to it with some Sigur Ros thrown in there (plus Jake). Drunk Dazed - Bang PD and crew do it again. That empty space before the chorus in Not For Sale - chef's kiss. overall, a good 2nd EP, still a bit too much vocal processing in my opinion, but they're building a strong catalog and their performance levels are so much higher than i thought they'd be not even a year removed from I-Land.
