Oh eu aumentei meu nível apenas para assistir a esse show, existe a possibilidade de recarregá-lo por favor?

I honestly loved the boyz performance, like it was sooo good and they just keep topping themselves I also like btob perf but thought that they could have done better in some aspects Ikons perf was meh for me, I mean I would've loved if they toned down love scenario not Broadway it up and as for killing me it felt like they didn't change anything of the song so I was kinda disappointed by their perf

BTOB really moved me...oh my gosh it was soooo beautiful! It wasn’t as “flashy” as iKon or Tbz, but it was amazing still. I honestly get overwhelmed by what Tbz do for their performances and I never feel the performance, but they are doing great too. I liked iKon’s and I felt they stepped it up.

leen

TBZ - I was too overwhelmed by everything that’s going on that I couldn’t really focus on the performance. I’m sure they did great, it just didn’t get thru that well I think (but that’s just me) iKON - Could use a little more something tbh (also the camera angles & lighting suck) but it was definitely a step up from their previous stage, it was highly enjoyable for me BTOB - I wish it wasn’t only Minhyuk that did the dance break/fight scene. I felt it lacked energy in some areas but still it really pulled me in, very beautiful.

BaoziBang

I really couldn't concentrate on TBZ's Performance. There was so much going on it took me at least 4 watches to take in what the Members actually did. It was the performance I least connected with this episode. I think the Groups should watch out for the probs and stunts they do in Kingdom. These things are supposed to enhance their performances, not overwhelm what they are actually doing.

BaoziBang

Ikon was so much fun, like always. Between the opening performance and this one I am really excited to find out what they will show us next!

nins

-I think TBZ's performance was too much. If they scaled back the props I think the members would've shined much more and it wouldn't seem so overwhelming. Besides that, really cool visuals and I loved their idea of using the water tank. -For iKon I think it was good, but it wasn't special. Like it was a good story but it seems a little forgettable. It was just missing that extra push to be memorable and something more than just a normal performance. I feel like I could see that stage at any of their concerts, which means it isn't unique. It's good, but not special, and Kingdom needs special stages to stand out. -For BTOB's performance: I really liked it. It was refreshing. Imma be super honest and say I don't necessarily like Peniel as a rapper (idk how to describe it but I don't like his style of rapping and he doesn't seem as engaged during performances compared to the other members) but he did good showing the emotion of the song. Really wish the other members had danced with Minhyuk a little bit during the dance break. There are 4 of them, so it wouldn't been cool seeing them fight with swords in pairs or something like that or maybe fight the backup dancers standing back to back. Still my favorite stage of this episode.

BaoziBang

The whole BTOB performance reminded me of wuxia dramas, which means I loved it. Hoping for something totally different for the next stage though, I really want people that don't know btob yet to get blown away by how much fun they can bring on stage!

i’m personally rooting for the boyz in kingdom. i don’t know how it’s going to turn out because kingdom definitely has more competition, but i’m excited nonetheless! i love almost all the groups competing but to me there is just something special abt the boyz and how they can constantly come up with new, fresh ideas. for this round, tbz and atz were my fav performances so i’m excited for u to watch ateez’s next week!

Tesa

i'm happy to see PD reacting to Sunwoo's performance in such a way especially since at the time he had a lot of trouble actually grabbing the rope properly. he was hanging off of it by pure luck! their performance was definitely my favourite of the three. i enjoy the showmanship and don't think it was too much. it's kingdom now so it should be grander!

Anonymous

For me, the BOYZ performance was the best out of every 6 performances.

Anonymous

Like cmon, guys, they didn’t use TOO MUCH of a props, they connected everything with themselves, everything was beautifully presented.

Anonymous

And I really enjoyed BTOB performance, I actually kinda geared up at the end, because their vocals KILLED ME ;-;

Izak

The ranking was so hard for me especially with the budget controversy 😭

Keiera Jones

hahaha just wait until you see the rest of the performances in ep 3... your ratings will have to go over 10

This was a hard ranking for me. I am biased towards SKZ so I'm just ranking based on what the other 5 performances did for me. When I watched the episode live, obviously I couldn't really go back and dissect The Boyz' performance like I really wanted to. For me, their performance was great, but it was very overwhelming to watch all at once. I was a huge fan of what they did on RtK, I think their performances were my favorites for most of the rounds, and I became a fan of their through that show. As I got to rewatch the reupload of No Air on YouTube, I felt like there was too much going on. The thing with the POV was cool but didn't really feel cohesive in my opinion? It was kind of jarring to me. I loved the rearrangement of the song, it reminded me a bit of ONF's We Must Love performance in a way. The theatrics of the stage were amazing, TBZ really nail the acting and feel of whatever it is that they do. Maybe because I know nothing of Game of Thrones that I didn't really get the whole fire and ice concept? Now that i've seen all 6 performances, TBZ's was actually the most forgettable for me. The only thing I can distinctly remember is Sunwoo hanging on the rope. but it was still cool. In all, out of these 3 performances, they'd be 2nd. As for 1st and 3rd, I have been back and forth with ikon and BtoB because they both have aspects in their performances that I liked and disliked. I like Btob's performance because they are very different from the other groups, this round they went more conceptual with the changing seasons and had more choreography and Minhyuk's whole fighting sequence. I did agree with the part when you said that the others could have been singing around the fighting or doing something instead of having a break in the song. That was probably my one critique. ikon's performance was really good, I liked the concept they did for Love Scenario, I just wished they would have done more for Killing Me or changed the song in a way. Its one of my favorite songs of theirs so I wanted to see it remixed or done differently I guess. I also feel like the camera work did not do them justice. I watched their dance practice of the performance and it was much better there. Nonetheless, they all did great, this is just me nitpicking and I wish I didn't have to rank them because all these groups deserve praise for doing all of this. Can't wait for next week.

Personally out of the 3 in performances tbz was my least favorite. Their performances used to wow me but they have no wow factor for me. I feel like too much is going on and it isn't as impactful. Like if I think back too the performance i can only remember a couple things. That said i do love some of the ideas like the pov and the cloth dance with sangyeon that did surprise and wow me. I enjoyed ikon's performance it was fresh and i could just vibe with it. Though I think the switching between the songs could've been more seem less. I didn't like that it sounded like a cut between the 2 songs. Btob was definitely my favorite. Very emotional and i like the subtle arrangements. The first time watching it i was sucked into the performance. Though now hearing your perspective i could see that the sword break is a bit like too cut off from the song. I did want a bit more from the sword break, i felt like I hadn't seen enough. I quess i like performances more that i can enjoy and vibe with instead of the "complexer" one that i have to focus a lot on

I don’t think it’s fair to even make a comparison between the performances, especially with the Boyz (and the other zzz teams) due to the budget issue. Yes they all delivered great performances, but you couldn’t really help but notice the different quality in the props and stages here between tbz and ikon+btob. Since there were no live audience, props do play a big role in making the stage grander. Let’s hope mnet would make it fairer on the next round, so we can all also judge it fairly :)

Mesha ✌︎

the budget thing ruined it all, now some ppl are hating on the boyz performance even tho it's not their fault :( they really worked hard and it was one of my fav performances

Mesha ✌︎

I personally think there is no "too much" in a survival/competetion show for me! In performance aspect as the whole in my opinion The Boyz is first. They had a huge impact for me.

JustCakie

I think the show needs to cap the budgets the stage props are getting a little out of control. I didn’t struggle to much with the boyz bc the costumes set them apart from their background dancers but one of the groups next week wear very similar costumes to their background dancers and between that and all the stage props I found it very hard to even figure out where the members were. I also don’t think the POV style helps. I hope it gets stripped back a bit next round

Alex Lee

istg if I see another comment which contains "props", "too much", "tbz" in one sentence after this week performances I'm going to lose my mind once again. Okay. About performances. Not a ranking. I'm sick of it. THE BOYZ I just love their sexy creative minds. The way they interpreted the song. I could never imagine "no air" sounded like this but once again it's tbz and their team with the same sexy brains. You'll never predict what they do next time. Also vocals just chef's kiss. Fck it THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE WAS INSANE. And another thing I love in tbz's performances it's the way they use the stage. Like literally every millimeter has its own story and okay I better shut up it's the whole essay already. IKON This group has really big advantage. Their songs are freaking great and popular. "Killing me" is literally killing me every time I listen to it. And another thing u can NOT deny ikon has great stage presence. Bobby can just stand still and I be clapping like my life depends on it. The only thing I don't like about their performance it's how inconsistent it is. Transition was really smooth but after second part of the show I forgot what was in the first. Like first part was missing impact. Same thing was with their intro performance. Beginning and ending were insanely amazing but center part was missing which reflected on the whole appearance. BTOB THESE MEN. THEIR VOCALS. I love this performance. Aesthetics of it are just wooooooooooooooow. And this sword show. Minhyuk the man you are. But you know. This performance was aesthetically and vocally pleasing but they can do more. They are capable. It left the feeling that the mug is not completely filled. Thank u, PD. Really love to hear your thoughts about performances.  Last words. M"net, u didn't deserve it.

excellen

All the performances were great but thinking on the theme of the round since it was "to the world"..basically a song that you want to show to the world. From the 3 groups in this episode, the only song that I had listened before in full was No Air from the Boyz but in the end it was the one song that after the performance I didn't even remember at all what was the arrangement or anything about the song. But the BTOB one and the ones Ikon performed actually made me interested in checking the songs out after. So yes The Boyz' performance was creative with a lot of elements and theatrics but for me they killed what made No Air the song interesting to me. I feel it was missed opportunity to actually, you know, show your song to the world, since we all know since RtK that they can do amazing performances.

Samantha

Okay my big thing about each of these performances was that I wanted just like one step MORE from literally all of them. I kept mentally comparing how I felt watching rtk stages and these and none of them really went the whole way there for me. HOWEVER! They were all incredible and truly stunning stages and performances. (I ran over the Boyz performance in my head so many times that I finally figured out what it was I wanted from them, they needed more physical levels when they were on the stage behind the candle things. Since everything was the same level, it fell flat (no pun intended) to me but also I may just be really picky rn because I want Kingdom to blow all of my expectations out of the water each and every stage. So far in the 3 episodes that I've watched only Btob and 2 others have done that and I literally have never been a fan of Btob in my ~9 years of being into kpop so like I know they're killing it!) Just my thoughts with a removal of any spoilers for PD ^_^

Sakura

PDnim, I hope this cheers you up: During their 2021 concert online Lee Changsub held up seven fingers, signaling “OT7″ while Seo Eunkwang claimed in a teary-eyed speech that “BTOB is forever“. Then, Lee Changsub asked “Are you watching?” (we assume to be addressed to all three members missing from the stage). They also took a photo on stage and both Lee Changsub and Peniel can be seen holding seven fingers up. A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.

I really enjoyed BTOB's performance. I thought it came together really well. I do agree the sword break paused the momentum but I really didn't mind. I enjoyed Ikon's performance but I LOVED their 100 sec performance and for me this performance didn't hit quite the same way. And the Boyz...ah the Boyz. I love No Air so much and to be honest this remix was a huge letdown. The song was unrecognizable. 10/10 for performance but 2/10 for that mix.

SanjA1800

Petition to get PD on the expert panel. Seriously just swap out the 30 (?) expert judges for PD at least we'd get unbiased scoring and they'd look at the performance from every angle. Rankings make my head hurt so I'm not gonna bother. Just respect for all these idols. 30+ hours filming for one round of performances, practice, rehearsals often while carrying out their other schedules. They make it look so easy. In a behind we got to see that part where Sunwoo holds on to the rope. But the timing was off and the rope didn't come all the way down for him to grab onto it. He somehow managed to hold on just as the camera focused on him. He's holding on only by his wrist. Also, fans were upset by the camera work in some parts. Especially for Ikon's performance. YG had to upload the dance practice after the show was aired so that we could see the details.

SanjA1800

And then they got a lot of backlash from knetz and Eunkwang had to apologize. But it was still nice nice to see. They really meant it. OT7 forever

PureENT TM

This shows that the rankings really matter, going first really does suck even if you gave it your all and let's be honest The Boyz ATE THAT, but the other group shut it down too not too mention these long ass 15 minute edits in between each performances makes it harder to remember what the group before did lol.

Sandy Cai

This is why I follow PD from the start, just his understanding, technical judgement and kpop knowledge and all that. Super love watching you react to this and hearing your thoughts PD. Now I just can't wait for you to watch Ep 3, its gonna be crazyyyy

Holly

Personally, I think I felt similarly to you about The Boyz’s performance at first. When I first watched it I was so shook, but as I watched it over and over again and after watching the other performances I feel like I started to forget it.. I think it’s because they had too MANY amazing parts- the POV, the Sunwoo rope, the Juyeon fire thing, the Juyeon fabric thing, Eric’s backflip, etc. I think in the long run all of the tricks are kind of overpowering each other and causing me to kind of forget the performance as a whole? Dont get me wrong, it’s my favorite of these three but I was still a bit disappointed with it. Like in their RTK performances, when you say each of the performances you think of a different scene- the stair move in Danger, the flag thing in Reveal, the sword jump in the intro, etc. But when I think about the No Air performance my mind kinda blanks for a minute. For me, I honestly loved BTOB’s performance but not because of Minhyuk’s part- I mean he killed it and it was so dope but like PD said it was kind of an interruption? And I guess after watching the stunts from tbz it didnt seem as impressive? What reall got me for BTOB’s performance were the vocals, the arrangement, and presentation/set, and that ending (the strings were SOO good and perfect for the song!

Tenken

Personally speaking, I preferred BtoB's performance the most. It just had the most emotional and lingering impact for me. Those live vocals were just *chef's kiss*. I really just liked its focus more on performance rather than theatrics. And this links back to my personal preference of Queendom over Road to Kingdom. Queendom was more about performance and led to stages that I will forever remember. Stages like Egotistic will forever be legendary. My problem with Road to Kingdom was that while the stages were undoubtedly flashy and cool and theatrical, it just became a contest of who had the bigger props and crazier stunts. I don't even really remember hearing anybody's live vocals. I just remember thinking "wow that was badass!" after watching the crazy stages and then completely forgetting about them a week later. They just didn't resonate with me in a lingering emotional level. I hope Kingdom doesn't turn into another contest of who has the most props. All of the groups are amazing performers in their own rights. My wish is that they focus more on their ability as performers over trying to wow the crowd with flashy lights.

Anonymous

For me, Btob's stage left the biggest impact. Personally i didn't feel that the sword scene is abrupt, and I liked how minhyuk just joined the other three members after the fight, like IM BACK. It hit me real hard when they started singing together. Like what the other groups said, I want to watch it again after the show. Ikon's stage made me really happy too like the vibe is so good. TBZ did great but it was hard to focus from the middle part onwards as there's too much things going on.

Brooklyn

There was a budget controversy where MNET mishandled informing the teams about a change in budget limit, so essentially half the teams went above because they knew they were allowed, and the other half didn’t because their producer (there’s two in charge of three groups each) didn’t communicate the change. I wasn’t sure how obvious it would be but especially in the next episode it is. I hope MNET changed it for the next round. But either way, I think the ranking at the end of the next episode (not spoiling though obv) I agree with (although 2nd and 3rd are tied for me). I think the teams with the most cohesive stories and creative song re-arrangements would have shone through regardless of the budget and that’s what I feel the ranking reflects, but I certainly think a fair budget would have upped the scale/ability to smth more like RTK. Some fans are complaining that groups relied on props and flashy stuff for their performance but I don’t think that was true for any group. Props do nothing without energetic dancing, a cohesive storyline, and a creative twist on the song - and I think the groups all were able to do that in some way. From this episode I agree with your ranking, although I loved TBZ’s risk to go more contemporary and I think on a personal bias level that edged them up just a tad for me.

Anonymous

I’m really glad you liked iKON’s perf even with the budget issue going on PD! Also, there were some bad angles that fans complained about so if u want to check it out personally, they uploaded their stage’s dance practice on yt (or check out ikon version by mnet which is without other groups reaction). I am really excited for u to check out the rest of the performances PD!

Ena

Personally, I actually didn't like The Boyz performance. Again, compared to what I've seen on RTK this one just falls a little flat for me and I lost interest during the chorus. I also didn't really like the first-person POV thing they were doing. With that being said, I still think it was pretty creative and innovative, as another group said. IKON was like watching a story, And I think that the story element is what I missed from The Boyz. Like I know The Boyz had the whole Game of Thrones concept but, I never watched the show to begin with so it was hard for me to be engaged. And again, to repeat what I said last episode, I like how they kept their performance charm where they try to engage the audience and have fun. BTOB was literally cheating though, like how can they use this song and not expect me to love it??!?!? I like the choreo, very minimalistic yet good. It also makes me sad to see just the four, Ilhoon's departure really hurt, and the stage did feel somewhat empty because of it tbh. I have the same feeling with IKON not having B.I but knowing all of the songs they were listing were products of his blood sweat and tears :(, like it makes me kind of sad. But back to the performance, I agree with the weird action sequence not integrating too well, but I still like it lol. And to add onto the whole budget debate going on in the comments, I don't really see how people are saying they like The Boyz performance because they didn't have many props because they are literally known for their props on RTK. The whole show is basically a performance spectacle so props are very much welcomed lmao

Mai B

I liked iKon’s and The Boyz’ performances the most this ep. I’m not watching it live, I’m actually just following along with PD because I don’t care for being ensnared in the fanwars and it helps to just not be on Twitter and just click on a video on Patreon lol. I think what stood out for me with The Boyz is that they focused more on their facial expressions and they delivered a visually stimulating performance. They did their usual thing but tried to improve a facet of their performance which they haven’t focused on before. Their vocals were great too. I like iKon’s performance a lot, I actually haven’t listened to them at all and I’m glad I’m being introduced to them through this show. It kinda blew my mind how well those two songs fit together thematically, like two sides of the same coin!!! They stepped up their acting and I was enthralled by their energy and charisma on stage. BTOB was crazy good vocal wise as usual but their overall performance was not cohesive enough for me, I agree with PD about the fight scene break not being incorporated properly and that it halted the buildup of the song unfortunately. I also feel kinda.. bad that Peniel has so little lines and that he almost never gets to say anything in the interviews :/ i could definitely see the differences in prop usage and it’s understandable that a lot of people are angry at mnet for this, it definitely doesn’t feel fair...

Christian Oettl

YGE put iKons performance they filmed on their YouTube so some fans think Mnet didn't do the best job with the camera. Really loved the mashup as it is 2 of my favorite iKons songs. I didn't get the whole underwarter part for The Boyz when they were just gonna use a small clip from 1 of the members, so what was all the rest about? Great performance from them but yeah, as they said, after Road to Kingdom they are now at a point where it is hard to keep the bar this high and do something new everytime. But I still think they will continue to be in Top 3 for the most time. BtoB makes me wish we had at least 6 of them on stage, their vocals are already the best with 2 members missing. And I feel like together with iKon they would be the group who would do even better in rankings if there was a live audience

Karina Kim

My favorite performace was BtoB i really like how they use the stage and the little break in the middle of the song i love it.

Amanda Araujo

From these 3 performances my favorite was IKON's as well, that wasnt just an amazing performance but it was also captivating and charismatic, TBZ's performance was amazing too but it didnt grab me as much as IKON and BtoB was great their vocals are insane and the action scene was reallt good but it lacked something for me. i cant wait to see your reaction for the other performances and the result because that result i think it was some bullshit, there's all this problem with the budget which mnet didnt notify clearly all the groups and its not the groups fault and im not saying those who ranked higher didnt deserve it either but by looking at those "experts" votes its pretty clear theyre judging based on props and other things put on the stages rather than the overall performance so i hope in the next episodes mnet clear this shit up and everyone gets a more even evaluation

eli_nhdoaek

BTOB’s Minhyuk never ages 😂 Also in my opinion, I would really like to see the boyz do a stripped down performance... I like their grand performances but for me it gets old? It doesnt surprise me anymore that much :(

Kpop_Platypus

Watching Dawon say "Please vote for us!" now that I've seen ep 3... I had the same thought about who could possibly compete w/ TBZ for high-concept creativity, but after watching the rest of the round, those thoughts have changed.  I'm super interested to see what PD thinks next week.  I personally thought Ikon's was the weakest performance of these 3, but that's just me. I wish they hadn't split the performances across 2 weeks, but I suppose Mnet need a certain number of episodes & it made me, at least, go back & watch the videos on YT so I remember what the other groups did. Minhyuk, the Men's Health cover model, saying "where can I buy those abs?" is hilarious to me. 😆

Harley

everytime I see Minhyuk with brown hair I think I'm seeing Soobin from TXT for like 15 seconds

Shara Padilla

Dont worry, PD. BTOB is family. They're by Ilhoon's side through his tough times. And I strongly believe he'll be back. It might take a while but I know he will.

R875d

I can't breathe... PD reaction when ikon performance start was hilarious 😭😭

avocadoetarts

i just love when this episode was aired YG immediately released the dance practice of this performance of iKON bcs of how bad and shitty mnet camera is but I'm really glad that you liked iKON's performance even though the production is not that much compare to other groups
