Dark Mode (for Windows 10) (Patreon)

Since Dark Mode seems to be the fad people go with today I've decide to join it as well and added Dark Mode support to CE

Keep in mind that Microsoft doesn't officially support Dark Mode in desktop apps, so some little hacks have to be done here and there to make it to work.

How to use:

Set windows to dark mode and start this CE build(After extracting it to your CE 7.2 install folder).  Right now it does not support runtime switching between settings, so each time you change the windows Dark Mode theme, you'll have to reopen CE

Bugs/Suggestions?

Please report them, there are many windows and some may look better than others, or act weird with the new color scheme or GUI hacks.

Also report when the default color schemes contrast too much and where

Unfortunately it doesn't start for me. After I gave CE elevated rights nothing happens. The process dies. And could you please make the color for the separators in memoryview make configurable? The yellow is a bit hard to see and I would love to make them a bit more visible. :)

Then not sure why it won't start for you. Check your anti virus and windows defender. (You did copy it to your ce install folder?)

I'm having issues too with darkmode. Followed everything to the letter, on the recent 20H2 update. I have a Windows Pro version of Windows. I thought I could post images to these comments but you can't. I'm on CE 7.2 RC 2 is that the issue?

it doesn't start at all or an error? Have you checked in the windows event viewer? perhaps it has some better info there (and do you have custom themes installed in windows?)

Works great! Had a bit of trouble at first- when I ran it from the start menu it defaulted to running "cheatengine-x86_64-SSE4-AVX2", but after running it manually from the updated .exe it works great! I do have fuzzy text on the "Memory Scan Options" header text which doesn't go away when I toggle ClearType text, so I'm not sure what the issue would be there.

I totally thought this was to force dark mode into every corner of windows 10 .. like the horrid task manager brightness nightmare that everyone hates (its blinding) but got this running swiftly and its gorgeous in the main app! good stuff

Hello, I am getting an error on CE when I try to run it

it says "The code execution cannot proceed because lua53-64.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
