I haven't re-watched with Ruff yet but I remember not liking them as much as the original Black Bull's robes. Though they were still better than golden dawn in my opinion. Hearing someone say they love them makes me excited to look at them again and see if my opinion has changed.

I’m not a big fan of the royal knights robes either, tbh. I feel like it’s a lot of wasted potential, and I blame the king. I just know he chose them, I know it in my soul.

Is it just me or is the volume of the episode going down when you speak far more dramatic now? Was it ever even a thing before? This is honestly my first time noticing, and it was pretty jarring.

The Wizard King shouldn’t be the real king solely because I can’t imagine how horrible the running of the country would be if Asta became the king. Stupista (Bakasta in Japanese) may be kind hearted and brave, but he would run a country into the ground. Honestly, Julius would probably not be a great king either with how he skirts away from his responsibilities.

The king of the kingdom doesn’t actually do anything whatsoever. He’s a king in name only. He’s the king in the same way that the queen of England is the queen.

As well as it probably being a stylistic choice, the animation in some of the fast fight scenes looking so low detail is because the show was weekly and that would have to be a lot of frames to animate which is why they chose to do what they did

Yuno vs Rill is arguably the best fight in 87 episodes and that's not even in the top 5 best fights in Black Clover anime
