Obligatory twist.

- Loss of devil horns

Foreshadowing?!

In MY EGS?!

Okay, in all seriousness, I don't know how well Susan's plan holds up to scrutiny. How exactly you can or can't prevent a cutscene is sorta vague.

However, I feel protected from any and all criticism regarding this for the following reasons:

1 - I've prevented cutscenes from triggering properly in open world RPGs without even trying. It's doable. I've done it twice recently.

Okay, the first time I actually was sort of trying because I wanted to see what would happen, and the second time involved a mod, but I've ALSO done it by accident while playing the vanilla versions of several games!

Wait, on purpose supports my point here. Okay, just ignore the mod example. Mods are nonsense.

2 - It's actually a dream. Not only that, it's a MAGIC dream.

This is already all bets are off nonsense-garbage. Like, it might literally be enough that Susan thinks this adds up. And no, I don't mean "figuratively", I mean it could literally be a matter of confidence. Or maybe it's not! It's magic!

The point is everything's fine and criticism is impossible 'kay bye

Speedrunners will agree with you, preventing cutscenes (usually by dodging cutscene triggers) is definitely a thing. I can imagine breaking out of a cutscene by queuing some delayed effect beforehand...

I find it annoying when cutscenes get skipped accidentally, even if the rest of the game is unaffected, because then I'm missing the story., and I might not even know that I am. Much less annoyed when I've seen it already, though.
