.....huh. You know, given that there are potions that can make you look like other people, it's at least theoretically possible that because this is some kind of weird dream world running mostly on video game logic, you might be able to trick the game into thinking someone else was the hero by using those disguise potions

coredumperror

Looks like Susan's flipping the script.

Opus the Poet

trying to invoke a little Europe Final Countdown, or just confused?

Some cutscenes Fwoosh. Cutscenes where dragons swoop in to save the day, burning out the zombie-making plague, for example. But I'll take your word that this isn't supposed to be one of them. ^_^ Or at least, that Not-Arthur (or maybe Just Arthur, I don't know) thinks this cutscene doesn't have Fwoosh. But maybe he doesn't know as much as he thinks he does. ^_-

Narzain

I reject your cutscene and replace it with my own.

Chordat

lol silly Arthur. The final cutscene in Fable 2 was a fake-out not-cutscene! You were able to kill the Big Bad at any point during his final speech! AND SUSAN KNOWS THAT.

Nah. Endgame cutscenes usually feature the hero conquering with, yanno, moves they don't really get in the game.

No one is going to comment how she's currently using a fireball? No? Oh okay

If a spell can only affect the person holding a wand, isn't that a touch requirement of its own?

egscomics

Technically, but in context, I was referencing the restriction of the tip of the drumstick being in contact with the recipient of the spell.

There've been scenes of Susan watching Probably-Grace playing Probaby-Parable. So I'm thinking she knows at least as much as Dan's told us in the Commentaries.

Dan mentioned it when he said "Cutscenes don't fwoosh!" I thought that covered the oliphaunt nicely. ^_^

After posting this, I had thoughts regarding wands that could or could not be used while one wore gloves. Would that be a special feature of a wand, or would it require some specific intent on the part of the wand maker? Could one have special gloves that one could wear and still use a wand that generally required a bare hand holding it? Would it be possible to make the requirement for bare skinned contact discount the gloves? If so, would this be something like a cyber war, where the different sides continually try to circumvent what the other did at the prior step?
