I really like the way that the people you draw actually LOOK at each other. Like, their expressions never feel incongruous or unbelievable. As an Ace/Demisexual dude that's the hard line between 'this is titillating in theory but my own imagination has to do the heavy lifting to insert the emotional connection' and 'Jesus fuck they're into each other and it's the best thing ever.' In a lot of anime/manga inspired fandom (and in the canon as well) I find the characters to be annoyingly two-dimensional. Like, Katsuki is an angry dude with a complex about being successful; and he's ALWAYS that way, even in situations where it might not make sense for those two aspects of his personality to manifest themselves. Any other aspects of his personality are always presented alongside or subordinate to the primary ones, and so he's always angry and trying to be better than people. I use Katsuki as an example (even if he's not in the above image) because you take that structure of character presentation and throw it out the window, and the guy we're left with is a much more compelling and complex and REAL-feeling dude. I've seen plenty of art and fic in the BNHA fandom before I encountered your work, but yours was the first that convinced me to finally have a go at engaging with it on an intellectual level because the narratives your artwork offers windows into were the first ones that had that quality of realness and emotional engagement that I need to pull me in.

Aaah thank you so MUCH for such a sweet comment 😭💕 i actually teared up a bit, because it really touched me and made me smile that these small details I'm working on(even like the feeling of the pic and atmosphere) are noticable and people appreciate them so much! It makes me extremely happy to read this and intimacy and these subtle details are very important to me personally so i will definitely continue to include them because it just adds something special to the pic 🥺
