General update, plans for coming months (Patreon)

Hey all, been a while since I typed anything here, so here's a quick update on what to expect from the immediate future.

Art will be flowing the same as usual until end of June. I will be wrapping up the ongoing series and exclusive comic "Backdoor Solution" (tiers $5+) by the end of June, which is a half-year waypoint. I release half-yearly content archive bundles on Gumroad and that's the release window for the next bundle, so I'll try to wrap up current projects by then.

After June it's a fresh start again content-wise, and I'll be thinking on what the next possible long-term series or comic will be.

However, two things. First, all this sitting at the computer drawing butts is taking its toll, both physically and somewhat mentally, so I'll probably take some time off at the start of July for a short summer holiday. 2-3 weeks, probably. I'll be focusing on exercising, spending time with family and friends, and generally anything other than sitting at the computer. However, I can't afford to pause my Patreon for that time (money is tight), so I'll be putting the extra hour here and there until then to stock up on some surprise art for July, so that hopefully there's something for all tiers in July, and I can keep things running normally, despite my holiday.

After July I will also be focusing slightly more on commissions (primarily the requests from the higher tier supporters at $95 and $150 tiers) for at least a few months, so I probably won't have multiple ongoing serial/comic projects during that time, like lately. I have a pretty extensive backlog of commissions, and a lot of unexpected expenses lately, so tackling the backlog just makes sense as it helps with both.

I'm honestly slightly worried about my financial situation for the end of the year, but I've done better than I initially thought I would since the start of the year, plus I should be getting some tax returns this year, so I should be ok for now. Worse comes to worst, I can focus even more on commissions, but I'd love most of my art to remain fully my own thing, so I normally try to only do the occasional custom art. As always, thank your for your continued support! It really is the thing that enables me to do the art that I do on regular basis.

As for non-art related news, I'm doing ok. Still struggling with tiredness and occasional trouble sleeping, and lately some back pains as well, but hopefully summer, sunlight and some R&R by July will help with at least some of these.
