There is a new folder under PlanC named VR180 exports.

I tried my best to make a VR180 scene.

There is only one file there and it's a 2160x2160px/eye top-bottom vr180 video (so 2160x4320px in total) at 30fps. It has 4 channel post-added audio and it took me 6 hours just to render the 10secons loop that was multiplied by 6 to fill that minute video wise.

Is it good?

Shall I make them a smaller resolution to cut down the render times? If yes what resolution is ok for this kind of meterial?

Do you want me to make you more loops like this or you fine with just the scenes?

Test it and give me some feedback if you can.

Honestly, the only use I could see for that is for making content for people who do not use VaM at all, or don't plan on using it. Seems like alot of trouble for you to go through when people can just... use VaM. I mean, all someone has to do is download the program and figure it out. Which is way better than having you waste hours of your time that could be better spent taking a break, or making something else. Just my two cents.

I don't use VaM coz i have no Desktop for it just simply laptop. Don't even have VR only one for Console which is obviously different and can't connect it on Laptop. Unfortunately i can't afford it that way atm. so i appreciate it this way. If it's too difficult and not worth it then keep the way it is best for creation. I'm just saying i like the way the videos are available like Agnes has in Plan C for example.

If there's link for VaM available and you don't need VR for it then someone send me the link. I'll be happy to test it. I could't find it tbh.

No VR headset needed, just a good PC to run it. I PM'ed you the link.

I'm afraid that this is the max I can do and that these vr180 vids will not become a trend. Sorry man they take so much time, I will try to make some but not a lot.

To also give my 2 cents I'm thinking like Phantom. You should not waste you time making this kind of videos when people can simply use VaM (which is by far a better experience)

Had to donate just to see the comments section, and to find its just a video is rather disappointing :-(

How do I view these VAM scenes without virt a mate... cuz I have quest 2 and I thought these were vr scenes. So I paid top tier to view them.. Sadly I can't even see the vam scenes.. any help would be nice if possible 😅

I have tried VAM and would say it is not always the ideal way to watch VR for some of us. It requires a more interactive rather than spectator roll. Sometimes I just want to watch hands free and enjoy the show in VR. Navigating through VAM is enough to make it feel like work. That said...I think the VR180 video version is amazing. I would love to see more of this please.
