What is the difference between kid and child? (Pixiv Fanbox)

There is not really any difference. You can use one or the other. Like if I saw Frog Nun standing somewhere I could say "look at that kid" or "look at that child". "Kid" might be a bit less formal, in a newspaper for example they would most likely use "child" but that's the only difference I can think of. And when using "kid" it's a normal noun, so it would be "you are a kid" or "there are several kids" 😊
