Hey everyone, lets dive into what we are working on for the next builds.


Hunters Guild

This update will be on the smaller side, in preparation for the bigger one after that. It focuses on the hunters guild, and finally introduces repeatable quests that can be grabbed there to reliably earn money. Those quests will feature random events, and as you might have guessed, the first event will feature 3 mischievous kobolds you guys voted for!

We created a new wilderness location for this purpose, with a planned cave system to explore depending on the quest contracted at the hunters guild. The cave system will be procedural generated so the repeatable quests won't become too boring.

For now we only have implemented a simple blackfur hunt and the kobolds event, but we plan to add more meat to the hunters guild over time, including a progression in the guild ranks.

The quests can be grabbed at the guild's board, where we added some explanations provided by Aya. We also rewrote most of her quest dialogue, to be more consistent with our current standards (it's a very old quest), and we will probably remake her quest in the new location later on.


Combat obstacles

As we continue to work on the combat little by little, this time we implemented destructible obstacles. They are hazards that will damage characters pushed into them (or other negative effect), and that can be destroyed by attacks, pushing characters, or even outside combat.

They come in various forms, and we will sprinkle them around the locations where it make sense.

Of course we will add proper destruction particles and sound effects to them later on.

Dee's butt is getting some attention! We animated the Dee anal part of her foreplay, which previously only had the written part.


Soundtrack

Our composer, Dirk J. Neefs, created a great soundtrack for the hunters guild inn. He also released his first single this week, check him out:

Future updates

And to finish, lets discuss the state of the updates after this one. Build 30 is fully written, including the scene, and all the art is finished (characters, locations, smut), with mostly the animations left. Animations are still our main bottleneck, but the new animators we are trying should smooth things out.

The big update after that (build 32?) is actively being written / arted. It will progress the main story further (we are really getting into the meat of it now!).

Of course we also did a bunch of smaller improvements to the game, such as Uulk and Kimber dialogue portraits in the older senate inquiries quests for example. And on a side note, we are preparing our steam page. We wont sell the game there until it is completely finished, but we were strongly advised to create the page regardless, do build up our wishlist.
