It's been a while single last dev log, so lets go through the important info first.

Next "half-build" is planned for early October, ideally first days but when I give specific date we're always late so I'll be a smart boy and wont do it this time. This update will feature the set up for a new "dungeon" which isn't a dungeon really, but another big hostile location like the cult quest line. As well as one of two CG scenes, normally you get them after the "dungeon" depending on your choices but for now it will be available after a small quest. We are going to start implementing 2 new enemy types and bunch of new locations.

If you don't remember, the current big update will be the continuation of the main storyline. We will get deeper into local political conflict and get to influence it and make a meaningful choice or two along the way. We generally plan the story to stay linear with small parallel branches where it matters similar to outcome choices in cult questline (which is now part of the main story since we dropped the idea of several optional dungeons). Some choices will affect how the different factions see you and the game ending.

Deck has been working on improving our in-game quest editor further to make scripting more streamlined and accessible to people without coding skills, since its a pretty big chunk of work in the future. In theory it might even be used by everyone for modding, similar to our dialogue editor, but we aren't sure how it will work out later on from technical standpoint.

Our 2 writers Valaska and Cheese already wrote walls of text for lore junkies, who want to explore situation and characters deeper, but structured to be completely optional and skipable if you are not interested. We are finally getting our toes dipped into politics and closer look into foreshadowed conflict with Atlathka. Also we finally finished the last district of Kaldea. It might be on the smaller side comparably but it surely took a while to finish properly

We have much much more content done, rigged sprites, cg scene and few other minor locations, but we want to leave something to be first explored through the game itself.

We are also planning an event in October ideally, so stay tuned for that!
