Being a while since last time we had our last dev log, so whats new?

We currently paralely developing iski mini-update and big cult update. As it always happens big updates are always late on what you planned or wanted them to be so mini update will fill out the space.

In the mini-update we will grant iski a full fledged 2 CG scene with redic surely getting a better grasp on her so she won't escape early as last time.

In addition we will be implementing some combat updates we were planning for adventure update anyway, would help us getting more feedback and ironing out glitches. Current main focus for combat updates is making it easier to read and flow much better, since core is somewhere around as we want just needs a bit of polish, balancing and extra content\options.

Amongst minor mechanics we adding new health and rest system. Now to make even small fights more meaningful we adding blood pool degradation mechanic, some % of damage you took in combat will semi-permanently lower you maximum bleed tolerance so you will die a bit easier next fight. Way to counter it is minimizing bleeding in combat (damage blocked by defense doesn't degrade blood pool) and resting. Rest will completely reset you blood pool and pass some in-game time which can be important for some events in the future. You can rest in the inns if you're in town, or can camp in wilderness\dungeons if you brought supplies with you. It's a bit tricky balance to make it meaningful challenge but not create an annoying chore for a player, so we will be listening on feedback on this addition.

As for adventure update we still in phase of bulk producing the content needed. A significant part of the location content has being finished, with just 1 big and few minor ones left. All civilian locations has being fleshed out already, screenshots above don't cover all the new locations we finished for this big update.

Reason why we need so much content is because we want to finish as much as possible in 1 go for this adventure and very rarely to return to fix or add missing content like in other locations we did before. For example player will be able to enter all of the houses in the new village, compared to other urban locations where plenty of houses aren't interactable.

Valaska is busy writing for the update for a while now, so it will be text rich like first adventure, uncovering more lore and own interesting mysteries.

Amongst locations we also have big sprite content needed as well for both enemies and civilians. Thankfully civilian content might be reusable in the future so will make other locations better as well.

You may want to have an English speaker proofread these posts before they go up, most of the sentences here were a jumbled confusing mess.

Do not forget about the glitches i pointed out in my other comment. They are small but really make the gameplay grittier.
